About three chapters in and I couldn't take it anymore and returned the audiobook. The author spends more time bloviating about himself and his observations about race relations in the United States than telling me about James Brown. I get that the context of race is an important part of the story, but the author can't help but make his opinions about it and his own irrelevant personal experiences from taking center stage.

An interesting portrait of Hudson. Well narrated and worth the listen. Never knew of his insubordination to his employers, and that was the most interesting part of the book to me.

Alarming. Riveting. Cohen lays bare the psychopath in the White House. If you want to better understand this worthless fool, read this one.and Mary Trump's book, "Too Much and Never Enough". They will tell you all you need to know. about this pathetic loser who conned his way into the presidency.

So well composed, insightful, learned and alarming. The naration was great too. The author effectively drives home the point that another term of Trump could be the ruin of our democratic experiment, and that in the long run the true salvation of our political system rests with honest self examination of our biases and prejudices. This book is a classic and I can see myself referring to it over and over again. Must reading for anyone concerned about the condition of our republic.

He may have a great story to tell, and I really wanted to listen to it, but his narration was just awful. His smart ass tone of voice just made it impossible to listen to.
