Great Addition

Where does Cyborg Fury: A Science Fiction Cyborg Romance rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I received story for an honest review.

This story takes place about two years after the first book. I enjoyed this addition to the Burning Metal series. I loved the interaction between Fury and Natasha. I was a bit surprised by Fury's actions prior to receiving the upgrade, but it didn't detract from the story. I liked way the characters were flushed out. The way that Natasha's ex changed showing his more criminal side.

The ending pulled together nicely and giving it a well rounded feeling.

What about Michael Pauley’s performance did you like?

I really enjoyed his narration. He does a great job especially with the cyborg voices.

Great story

What did you love best about Naima?

I received this book for an honest review.

I love how TerraMates is either just slightly different story to story or it's evolving as the series grows. In this one TerraMates is sending a ship of brides already married to their husbands. When the ship is shot down one of the husbands has to mount a rescue mission with his military unit. Once the rescue is done they end up stranded on the almost inhospitable planet.

I loved the sexual tension between Laz and Gabriella, but it wasn't acted on until almost the end of the book. There was a lot of action, so it wasn't missed. I loved the duel narration. It adds a bit more depth than a single voice does, and these two voices are wonderful.

Great first contact

What did you love best about Malachi?

I was given this story for an honest review. I enjoyed the story of Earth's "first contact". The story only focuses on one small part of a city that Emma lives in. I like that Emma is a normal person dealing with very real problems when the Alva attack. I also love how developed Malicious as a character. He had his doubts and fears as well. So much so that he wasn't the most confident person when it came to starting their relationship. I felt that the story was well thought out and well written . I can't wait to the next book .

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Although the narrator had a good voice and did the voices for the characters well, I felt she read a bit fast. I had to stop serval times to make sure the story was still in normal speed. Though it didn't take away from the story.

Good start to the series

Would you listen to Cyborg Heat again? Why?

I was given this story for an honest review.

This was an interesting take on a cyborg story from the start of a cyborg becoming self aware. I enjoyed seeing the development of the different cyborgs' personalities, especially AD214's. It's interesting to see how the smallest things, like an update, can cause such a profound change. The difference between a thinking soldier and a completely robotic one.

The romantic development between AD214 and Amanda was interesting to see.

Overall it was a great start and I can't wait to see how the rest of the series plays out.

What about Michael Pauley’s performance did you like?

I don't think I have heard him before, but he did a god job of voicing the cyborgs both the animated ones and the completely robotic ones. Though some of the robotic sound did bleed over in some of his descriptions.

Great twist on the series

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I received this story for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this twist on the TerraMates series. In this particular story TerraMates is sending out full ships of brides to be rather than single woman. But the story focus on one woman in the last ship that goes out. Katie is taken from the ship by Troxeo because she isn't acting like the rest of the woman on the ship when he invades the ship.

I liked the inner strength that Katie had not only in choosing to go to a different planet in the hope of starting a new life, but also in finding herself in a situation that was completely out of her control. Even facing imprisonment and torture didn't break her spirit.

Troxeo showed the honor and depth of character that he had when he didn't follow the standard treatment of female prisoners of his race. In fact he was willing to give up everything for Katie.

I loved how fleshed out the characters were. It was easy to get in touch with them and feel like I was right in the midst of the action with them.

What about Terrence Bayes’s performance did you like?

I love the reader's voice. He does a great job of bringing the scenes to life, both the action and the romance. He's read several of the TerraMates books and I hope he continues.

I received this story for an honest review.

I have enjoyed the TerraMates series, but this was my favorite. I liked how this started out as a typical TerraMates story for the hero, but quickly changed.

I liked how the hero and heroine came together. Overall the story had a bit of an Indiana Jones feel, but it was still very enjoyable.

I really enjoyed the reading. The two voices flowed together nicely.

This was this first story I've had from this author. It was a cute story. It was almost predictable, but I enjoyed it.

The reader was enjoyable and easy to listen too.

I was given this story for an honest review.

I enjoyed this story. It wasn't as straight forward as it started out to be in the beginning. I thought it was going to end up with the hero as the emperor, but the wasn't how it played out. I liked that. It kept the story from getting boring.

I liked the interaction between the hero and heroine. Yes, he had the instant attaction for her, but he knew he had to win her. And he did.

I enjoyed the reader. She did a good job with the different voices.

All in all well worth it.

I received this story for an honest review.

I have enjoyed this series. This story was no disappointment.

The characters were well developed with full backgrounds. It was very touching to watch their problems. I cried as their relationship fell apart knowing they should be together. I love how they came together in the end.

This was a beautiful story.
