Historia
For most of her life (and even during her years as the host of a popular radio show), Courtenay Hameister lived in a state of near-constant dread and anxiety. She fretted about everything. Her age. Her size. Her romantic prospects. How likely it was that she would get hit by a bus on the way home. Until a couple years ago, when, in her mid-forties, she decided to fight back against her debilitating anxieties by spending a year doing little things that scared her - things that the average person might consider doing for a half second before deciding: "nope."

A zillion stars!

I picked this title randomly. I listened to a sample and decided I liked the reader (which is also the author). I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS HIGHLY ENOUGH! If you’ve had an anxious thought about anything, this book is for you. If you’ve ever felt uncomfortable and out of place, this book is for you. If you like funny, this book is for you.
Courtenay takes you on a journey as she finds her way through an experiment she creates to push herself out of her comfort zones. She’s funny and real and she seems like someone I’d be best friends with. Her story is relatable - I’ve had plenty of the same thoughts and similar experiences.
And did I mention it’s funny?? Love love love this book !
