Spy vs. spy during the Civil War with cinematic images of iron clads roaming the high seas, Confederate spies outfoxing Union officials, naval warfare as deception and skulduggery. Fantastic and quick read. Perfect gift for the military history fans (Gpa, Navy uncle, Marines cousin) on my list. It really has it all: Cotton traders, the Confereracy vs the Union, Naval battles, even bawdy descriptions of the Liverpool docks! Narration by Mark Bramhall brings the story to life, very nice job on reading.
