I've been a fan of Molly Harper for years and have enjoyed all of her books. A Proposal to Die for does not disappoint. Witty and snarky heroine, memorable characters, fun and unexpectedly twisty plot, and intelligent dialog brought to life by the fantastic narration of the wonderful Amanda Ronconi makes for an engaging and memorable romp, perfect to get you warmed up for your summer reading list.

Love the story and Ilona Andrews but this is a pirated version of their book and it sounds like it was narrated by AI.

*Spoilers* Normally I try not to give any spoilers in my reviews but in this case I can't do it properly without them. I've enjoyed Casey's other books and I loved the first book in this series and was really looking forward to Mick and Quinn's story and I'm sad to say I've been a bit disappointed. First Quinn: While often hilarious just because of the sheer ridiculousness that comes out of her mouth, Quinn's overall personality is shallow, self centered, and immature. She acts more like someone who is still in high school vs someone almost ready to graduate from college and has been helping to take care of a disabled little brother. Additionally, she shows no real capacity to actually be able to take care of him but she seems to feel that not only should he stay completely dependent but she acts like her parents aren't able or willing to take care of him which is not the case at all. Throw in that she goes from wanting to help Alissa to treating her like an annoying inconvenience makes it hard to actually like her at times. Mick: Casey really seems to miss the mark with developing Mick's character and it's hard to understand why when there is so much there to work with. In fact I feel like I got to know Colin better than Mick in this book that's supposed to be Mick's story. He's supposed to be a Hellion but his character comes through as grounded and responsible. He's continually the one staying sober while others are drinking. Additionally, we still don't know why he and Colin aren't getting along. And he is apparently a very fast healer because he was able to have all night athletic sex with Quinn less then a week after having his spleen removed, a surgery that takes 4-6 weeks to fully heal from. He and Quinn have maybe 2-3 incredibly brief conversations about anything real throughout the entire book, she treats him like crap half the time and she proves that she doesn't trust him yet he still asks her to move in with him and she accepts! This being while her mom and brother are still in the hospital, her family has lost their house, and she just thought he was cheating on her less then a minute before. Overall, the book was worth listening to for a few laughs and because it moved Rebel and Teagan's story forward and set things up for Colin and Alissa. Hopefully, Trouble will be better, but that will depend on if Colin can get over whatever his weirdness is about her being pregnant.

Really enjoyed this story. As always, Molly Harper brings great character and world development that catches the imagination in new and refreshing ways. I laughed, I cheered, and I appreciated the lessons the characters learned.

Amanda Ronconi did a masterful performance with all of the different accents and each character's voice was distinct and recognizable.

There are a few editing issues that need to be corrected (character half asleep runs into a wall and then in the next paragraph is getting out of bed, etc) but not enough to keep me from enjoying this wonderful story. Highly recommended for preteens and up.

I haven't started the diet portion of this program yet but I'm excited to finally have some answers to some questions I've been having about my health for years. It took my awhile to figure out that if you want to look at the "enhanced version" you have to go onto the audible website and download the pdf document listed below the book in your library. It's a requirement for the book to make any sense, otherwise there are huge gaps. Hopefully this will make a difference for me and the women close to me that have been having many of the issues described.

I've read all of Stephenie Meyer's works and it's been wonderful to see her talent grow over the years. The Chemist was excellently written with well developed characters and a rivoting plot. I couldn't put it down, listening on Audible while I was working and then reading through the night to finish.

I love all of Kiera Cass's books and this is an exciting continuation of their story. While at first I couldn't figure out how Jacob and America could raise such a self centered spoiled bratt, especially when compared to her twin. However as I got to know her better and see her growth Eadlyn has grown on me. I can't wait for the next installment of the series.
