I’ve always been fascinated with cults and polygamy. I’ve followed Anna on Instagram and enjoyed her posts. This audible book is fascinating and it was difficult for me to stop when I needed to be working or with my family. Anna does a fabulous job of describing in detail what it’s like as a child and adult to come from this horrific (cult) experience and grow into a person capable of love, family, healing and forgiveness. I loved everything about it. I especially appreciate Anna’s courage to share about her faith in Jesus. In a world where that might not be cool or even acceptable by some, it’s her truth. She isn’t pushing any agenda, she’s sharing from her heart. As a fellow Christ follower, I’m thankful she used her voice for His glory. I’m amazed by her strength and her ability to live a wonderful and full life after the evil she encountered daily. It’s a must read!

Book one .and two just drop off without warning. Book 3 gets too many bad reviews so I chose not to waste a credit. Alanson had so many options to make this book exciting. Writing is YA/Teen level.
