Historia
When Cus D'Amato first saw 13-year-old Mike Tyson spar in the ring, he proclaimed, "That's the heavyweight champion of the world." D'Amato, who had previously managed the careers of world champions Floyd Patterson and José Torres, would go on to train the young Tyson and raise him as a son. D'Amato died a year before Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion in history.

Unbelievable
Revisado: 08-18-22
I’m fascinated by Mike Tyson. I was always apprehensive to admire him, even just as an athlete, because of my perception of him through limited video clips and sound bites. After reading this book, sh*t! I marvel at the fact that he is alive! Nevermind the fact that he became one of the greatest boxers of all-time. He endured so much and the book allows you to hear from the guy that came out the other end. He was molded, destroyed, rebuilt and reformed by that life- all in pretty extreme fashion. I would love to have heard the voice of the champ but the narrator did great. The backstory about Floyd Patterson and Cus fighting against corruption in boxing seemed to drag on. But it was necessary and came together nicely in the end. I was inspired and moved by the book in a lot of ways, all positive. I definitely admire and respect him now that I’ve heard his story. Thanks for sharing Mr. Tyson. Please see to it that the author gets my message above and my email so we can correspond. Thanks in advance Audible

Historia
If there’s one trait that makes someone well-suited to comedy, it’s being able to take a punch - metaphorically and, occasionally, physically. Told with a healthy dose of self-deprecation, A Very Punchable Face reveals the brilliant mind behind some of the dumbest sketches on television, and lays bare the heart and humor of a hardworking guy - with a face you can’t help but want to punch.

Really Funny and Honest
Revisado: 02-19-21
Will always love SNL and Colin is another reason why. He is really honest and open about his life and experiences. He is a wild combo of someone who is incredibly smart which you hear in his whit and ability to tell a story. But he also has the self-deprecating, dark humor and reckless abandon of a comedian which you also hear in his whit and storytelling. Thoroughly enjoyed and now I jump back into the book when I need a laugh.

Cheesy
Revisado: 07-30-18
Paints guys to be these helpless, stereotypical idiots who only understand sports, beer and life in the man cave. That would be fine if it was clever or funny but it’s pretty corny. I realize it’s supposed to be a channel for good, digestible information coated in humor but just falls short for me. Helped out several friends who recommend it highly. Good luck to all new dads
