Historia
24/7 Demon Mart: Publisher's Pack features two books from the 24/7 Demon Mart series: The Graveyard Shift, book one, and Monster Burger, book two. It also includes the bonus Hell for the Holidays, a 24/7 Demon Mart Christmas special. Lloyd Wallace is the most clueless crossing guard the intersection of hell and earth has ever seen. So clueless, that he doesn't even realize the beer cave in the corner store where he works is the gateway to hell.

A decent listen
Revisado: 01-26-23
The premise of the story is good. There are a few plot holes that come up and are e never addressed. None that really ruin the story but make you wonder. The characters are well rounded except for the main character. He is a one sided character and never seems to evolve.
I would recommend giving it a listen as it has good parts and like I said the story is good.

Historia
Jennette McCurdy was six years old when she had her first acting audition. Her mother’s dream was for her only daughter to become a star, and Jennette would do anything to make her mother happy. So she went along with what Mom called “calorie restriction." She endured extensive at-home makeovers while Mom chided, “Your eyelashes are invisible, okay? You think Dakota Fanning doesn’t tint hers?” She was even showered by Mom until age sixteen while sharing her diaries, email, and all her income. In I’m Glad My Mom Died, Jennette recounts all this in unflinching detail.

Well read and hard to hear because of the life
Revisado: 11-05-22
While this book has caused some to be upset over the title and the smiling Jennette McCurdy on the cover. The life events and telling of the past is a hard one to listen to. Jennette has had to endure a “loved” relationship from her mother that seeing it through outside eyes is quite atrocious and down right abusive. You have empathy as Jennette retells the stories growing up while she is forced to sleep on a roll up May because her bed is covered from a hoarding mother. The eating disorder that her mother imposes on her and the heavy guilt shoved down her throat.
Even if you were not a fan of iCarly or Sam and Max, it is a book worth listening to. Jennette dives into her problems and talks about the struggles. I applaud her to be able to write this down and tell her story as their are so many young children going through similar things.

Historia
Salem, Massachusetts, was home to one of the most infamous periods in American history. False witches were burned at the stake while actual witches stood by and watched in reverie. The flames scratched the skies with horrendous height as the heart of man darkened. At least that's how the story goes. Sparrow is a teen who loves everything vintage. Jason is her best friend who relies on their friendship as a steady constant in his life.

A start to a series on witches
Revisado: 10-23-19
Their are parts of the story that you question and never get an answer on. I can see a series expand from this and hope that some questions are answered in the next book.
If there is another book I hope that a new narrator is chosen. The story takes place in Salem and the narrator has a southern accent instantly pulling you out of the book. The narrator also does not provide much emotion or depth to the characters. It is hard to tell when one character is speaking to another as they all have the same tone.
I feel I need to listen again to see if I missed some information.
I was provided a free copy of the book in exchange for a honest review. The opinions of this review are mine and not influenced by the author or publisher.

Historia
The only suspect to his best friend’s murder.... When Kirby Jackson’s friend Ryan is found dead in the comics and coffee shop the two co-own, Kirby quickly becomes suspect number one. Perhaps things wouldn't look so bad had Kirby not been planning to cut Ryan out of the business. The only witness to the crime, Ryan’s stubborn dachshund, might hold the keys to solving the case. But his attitude toward anything and everything that isn’t his warm doggy bed is less than helpful.

Interesting story with good twists
Revisado: 05-07-19
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
The story never became stale and kept things fresh. The Protagonist is a character who you feel absolutely bad for because of the events that occur. The problem with it that though is you never really feel empathy for him. I don't know if it is in how the narrator portrays the characters or the story doesn't bring it up. The story in whole is great to hear and you try to piece together who did it. You want to pay attention because there are subtle clues laid out throughout the book to help you along the way. Even though the story is only 3 hours long, it feels longer and I think it is in part due to the great storytelling by Jeffrey Kafer. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys murder mysteries.

The infected are subject to delirium, fever, a dramatic increase in violent behavior, and a one-hundred percent mortality rate. Death. But it doesn't end there. The victims return from death to walk the earth. When a massive military operation fails to contain the plague of the living dead it escalates into a global pandemic.

Another "zombie" title
Revisado: 04-30-19
Like so many other zombie genre stories, they are all about the same. I would like to say this is different but it is not all that different. One thing the book does have going for it is Olivery Wyman bringing depth and feel to the characters making you feel like there is more than one narrator for this story. It is worth a listen for the characters but story it could use some improvement.

Hard to pause the book and step away
Revisado: 04-30-19
This story has you constantly wondering what is going to happen next to David Dixon. The poor guy is scrubbed in for another astronaut to do a delivery to space when things go absolutely sideways for him and they don't seem to stop. He is desperately trying to find out what happened and clear his name because everyone is looking for him. It is a great book for anyone looking for a thrill seeker.

The battle between good and evil, God and Satan.A fight older than time. But is everything we know about this struggle just a matter of propaganda? Satan, Lucifer, the Devil, Shaytan sure thinks so. In this letter he tries to convince the human race, you, of his intentions. They are pure. Everything that was blamed on him was done as a smokescreen to cover more sinister motives.

A different take on the fall of Lucifer
Revisado: 04-30-19
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
For the book is slightly over one hour in length it had a very interesting take on the fall of "Lucy" Lucifer from heaven. Depending on where you are on faith and religion it can make God turn out to be either a whiny little child who abuses his angels or a just God in smiting and having Lucifer fall from heaven. The idea of Lucifer wanting to create his own world earth was interesting when you think that it is Earth.

Revisado: 02-22-19
The story has a wide range of characters and yet they all feel the same. Ray Porter does an amazing job at narrating the story. Throughout the story I kept wondering what was going to happen next. With so many characters it is a little challenging at times to remember the different story lines.

This is the way the world ends: with a nanosecond of computer error in a Defense Department laboratory and a million casual contacts that form the links in a chain letter of death. And here is the bleak new world of the day after: a world stripped of its institutions and emptied of 99 percent of its people. A world in which a handful of panicky survivors choose sides - or are chosen.

Revisado: 03-08-17
A wonderful story by Stephen King. You want to keep listening to see what happens next. There are some parts of the book that seems to repeat and you are like come on hurry it up. Besides those few areas the book is wonderfully told and the characters are great.
