Great course, one critique.

Definitely a great resource for learning about resources!
But this analysis doesn't do justice to nuclear fission power.
For example the deep sea storage of spent fuel wasn't even mentioned and could easily solve the issue but needs further study. See Seabed Working Group from the 1970-1980's. See 32N164W.
Also he made it sound like spent fuel transportation was as dangerous as hauling vinyl chloride through Ohio or molten sulfur through Montana.
Totally false and he should know better.
Just google "testing of nuclear Spent Fuel transportation containers " and you can watch video of these things being dropped on concrete from cranes, being dropped onto steal spikes, being incinerated in massive test fires being struck by trains at er crossings, being strapped to rocket propelled trucks and rammed into concrete walls. And all throughout that testing they do not break and do not release anything.
Anyway despite the lacks there, he still shows the need for fission and this course was a really great introduction to most aspects of the generation of energy in general.
He does a fairly good job covering other things.
For example he's one of the few people who discuss the fact that while we're trying to leave fossil fuels behind, population rises and energy demands are rising and as we electrify cars and trucks that has to get included.
Anyway great course and realistic which includes acknowledging the role nuclear fission must play.

The idea that religion is about fiercely holding irrational beliefs for alternate goals is key to seeing how the elect form a church and must be kept separate from our state so it can't use the forceful apparatus of government to convert unwitting people to its creed.
