Historia
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Outstanding piece of work. Wise beyond his years.
Revisado: 08-28-17
This is a tremendously insightful piece of work. By my reckoning, the guy's still in his 20s so a lot of his youthful beliefs might change radically as he learns and grows. One simple lesson would be that you don't need to curse constantly to get your point across. In real life, it doesn't matter. In a book it's distracting and wholly unnecessary.
But I refuse to quibble when there's so much to absorb here. Even as I listened I could feel my priorities changing. So many of the routines and mindsets we're caught up in don't serve us very well. We stress out, we regard ourselves and our concerns as too important. Manson makes a great case for simply chilling out. In that respect, his words have changed my life.
Great job.

Want the truth about prosperity? Here it is. In many cases it's the exact opposite of what you've been doing. Williamson has it right.

Pretty good

Good story and clear reading, although the reader doesn't do men's voices well. They tend to sound like fiendish children. Otherwise well-paced and captivating.

Historia
On The Power of Vulnerability, Dr. Brown offers an invitation and a promise - that when we dare to drop the armor that protects us from feeling vulnerable, we open ourselves to the experiences that bring purpose and meaning to our lives. Here she dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and reveals that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage.

It's hard to know what to say. How many nails is it possible for woman to hit right on the head in a single presentation?
Moving, thought provoking, unnerving at times, but entirely meaningful and true. Blown away.
