Historia
Without consciousness there is nothing. Have you ever wondered why and how the world around you came to exist, and whether there might be an afterlife experience awaiting you after our physical bodies die? Might there actually be a God and a heaven of some sort? The hypothesis presented in this book is that our seemingly physical universe of matter and energy is a virtual simulation which is thought into existence by a universal consciousness which we call God.

Diappointing compared to "The God Theory"
Revisado: 10-27-23
Regrettably, not of the same caliber as "The God Theory" which was well developed and one of my most favorite books. "Miracle" consisted of many of the same ideas but somewhat disjointed and not well organized. The discussion of music theory at the end was one example and an anticlimactic end.

The information age has begotten turmoil. It seems that the more information we have, the less peace the average person has. To many, an impression has developed that modern science has disproved the existence of the immaterial realm, and doomed us to a sterile, pointless wandering in the wilderness of minutiae. During roughly the same time this impression has been developing in popular culture, however, massive evidence to the contrary has been steadily erupting from the sciences!

Historia
Dr. Michael Guillen, a best-selling author, Emmy award-winning journalist and former physics instructor at Harvard, used to be an atheist ― until science changed his mind. Once of the opinion that people of faith are weak, small-minded folks who just don’t understand science, Dr. Guillen ultimately concluded that not only does science itself depend on faith, but faith is actually the mightiest power in the universe.

Disappointing
Revisado: 03-31-22
Good historical review but unlike "The God Theory" by Bernard Haisch, there was no real explanation showing the relationship of modern physics and the basics of Christianity or the Bible. Not very informative, just a lot of declarative statements without support.

Adrift in a raft after a deadly ship explosion, 10 people struggle for survival at sea. Three days pass. Short on water, food, and hope, they spot a man floating in the waves. Serving as a powerful follow-up to Jordan Peterson’s book 12 Rules for Life, Dr. Gad Saad unpacks what is really happening in progressive safe zones, why we need to be paying more attention to these trends, and what we must do to stop the spread of dangerous thinking. A professor at Concordia University who has witnessed this troubling epidemic firsthand, Dr. Saad dissects a multitude of these concerning forces (corrupt thought patterns, belief systems, attitudes, etc.) that have given rise to a stifling political correctness in our society.

Historia
In Disunited Nations, geopolitical strategist Peter Zeihan presents a series of counterintuitive arguments about the future of a world where trade agreements are coming apart and international institutions are losing their power. Germany will decline as the most powerful country in Europe, with France taking its place. Every country should prepare for the collapse of China, not North Korea. We are already seeing, as Zeihan predicts, a shift in outlook on the Middle East: it is no longer Iran that is the region’s most dangerous threat, but Saudi Arabia.

Great update of the original Accidental Superpower
Revisado: 03-26-20
Very insightful, Just like Accidental Superpower it places the world in a data perspective without political spin. Not quite as tight as Accidental Superpower but still outstanding. Very useful for long range business planning. Dissolves much of the knee jerk attention grabbing "doom and gloom" that is typical of the mainstream media. Shows how lucky we are here in the United States. I also like his email newsletters that provide mini-updates. Thank you Peter!

Is it possible that there exists an ancient mystery that holds the secret of America's future? That this mystery lies behind everything from 9/11 to the collapse of the global economy? That ancient harbingers of judgment are now manifesting in America? That God is sending America a prophetic message of what is yet to come? Before its end as a nation, there appeared in ancient Israel nine specific warnings and omens of national destruction - these same Nine Harbingers are now manifesting in America with profound ramifications.

Historia
Is there a God? If so, does God care about us? Or is human life a mere accident of physics? For centuries these fundamental questions have been integral to every culture and religion the world has known - and have not been answered, save by faith. When it comes to finding answers about how the universe came into existence, "God" is simply another theory. A theory that, many say, is no longer needed.

Good but not as good as the God Theory

I knew that this book would be derivative but missed one key point. I really liked Bernard's explanation of why we exist. White on white so God can experience himself through a free will being.
