Historia
What happens when the haggling is done and the shops are closed? When the quest has been given, the steeds saddled, and the adventurers are off to their next encounter? They keep the world running, the food cooked, and the horses shoed, yet what adventurer has ever spared a thought or concern for the Non-Player Characters? In the town of Maplebark, four such NPCs settle in for a night of actively ignoring the adventurers drinking in the tavern when things go quickly and fatally awry.

Historia
The Bobiverse is a different place in the aftermath of the Starfleet War, and the days of the Bobs gathering in one big happy moot are far behind. There’s anti-Bob sentiment on multiple planets, the Skippies playing with an AI time bomb, and multiple Bobs just wanting to get away from it all. But it all pales compared to what Icarus and Daedalus discover on their 26,000-year journey to the center of the galaxy.

Who would have guessed that? When these cruel gods shuffled Earth like a deck of cards, nothing was in the same place anymore. Monsters, dungeons, and magical items appear scattered across the globe. And suddenly, everyone has access to a new, strange magical card system that gives them magical powers.

slow at first, got good right before act 2.

it was an enjoyable listen, while the scope of conflict is huge it feels very underwhelming, however that may just be the characters personal view.

Historia
Not every danger comes in the form of a mega-threat like a Titan. Some predators are a lot cozier...more personal. When one such creature threatens an independent tutor, Harry Dresden must shake off the blood and dirt of his most recent battles and rise to the occasion, even when it turns out that the new predator is far more dangerous and connected than first appearances would suggest.

Revisado: 05-23-23
while not better than Working for Bigfoot, this novella is perfect in many ways. It shows how Dresden is becoming grounded after the events in book 17. without this story it would have made Dresden a lot worse of a character.
Allso, Harry Potter jokes.
Jim did a great job writing and performing.

The power he needs to solidify a major alliance is close at hand. All he needs to do is settle in and prove himself with the help of old friends and new. Simple enough. Or it would be, if Cairn was the only outsider to breach the Sanctum. When he arrives, he discovers an old enemy has sealed the Sanctum from the inside, holding it ransom. It's not a book I would have read, but worth it.
Revisado: 04-05-23
cons: quite the novel, ends abruptly, a little all over the place.
pros: excellent characters, interesting drama, good story
This story sounded like a redo wish fulfillment, then things started to go wrong, and i found it funny that a 60 year old had to deal with teenage hormones.
while I'm a guy, I was able to relate to the main characters' issues and problems. there were three distinctive points where I nearly stopped reading due to the over the top details on subjects which I didn't care about.
read this 25-hour book in a weekend. it was entertaining and a good change of pace. I don't know if I'll give it another listen or not.

They connect to Outland - an alternate Earth with identical geology, but where humans never evolved. Revisado: 08-10-22
I'm no book critic and I pretty much like or don't finish a book. while not as good as the bobiverse books, this book scratched an itch I didn't know I had. the coffee jokes aside it was a good ride.
it did mesh with some current events a little too well and took me out of my listening groove.
