Historia
The legendary American outdoor writer’s finest collection. For decades, Gene Hill’s articles and books have captured the spirit of the outdoors in a way that inspires and entertains millions of readers. A Hunter’s Fireside Book captures the essence of the life of a sportsman and explores the full spectrum of the hunter’s experience: sunrises in the duck blind, an unforgettable hunter’s moon, the camaraderie of men who know the pleasures of being wet and cold and a little bit lost.

A Hunter's Fireside Book
Revisado: 10-09-14
Would you consider the audio edition of A Hunter's Fireside Book to be better than the print version?
This is one of Hills best! The audio version is nice to have for listning to while relaxing in the dark of a hunting camp. Just before drifting off to sleep.
What other book might you compare A Hunter's Fireside Book to and why?
Mostly Tail Feathers, Another wonderful collection of Gene Hill's storys. I don't think you can find an audio of this one. However, I highly recommend this book.
Which character – as performed by Ray Childs – was your favorite?
Hill the Trap shooter. I can easily relate to his trap shooting yarns.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No, I enjoy listning to a few storys over several eavenings , with a double scotch.
Any additional comments?
Hill always makes me want to be in the field bird hunting with my brittany..Gracie.
