Historia
As the new owner of the worst business in history, Jack has a lot on his plate. His self-appointed “biggest fan” wants to finally meet, and won’t take no for an answer. The annoying cultists are back and cultier than ever. Plus, there’s a creature living under the building's crawlspace that must be fed regularly (or else). To top it all off, the entire town’s collective memories have been haphazardly rewritten, and Jack's placement in these recollections are decidedly unflattering.

A guilty delight
Revisado: 03-01-24
Much like the main characters ability to exist in multiple timelines and realities. The story lands solidly in both camps of cheesiness and brilliant writing. Some of the one liners in the story are laugh out loud hilarious. A continuation of that writing style that leaves me wanting more. This particular book author Townsend does much more character development, then in prior novels. Something I think was much needed in the story. I came here as a loyal listener to creepy pasta and stayed for the hilarious story.

The usual great production value of camp monsters. With a story that has a twist ending.

sglhould be required reading
Revisado: 04-20-21
If there is such a thing as required reading for life. This should be Among it. The author breaks down many of the emotional facts of survival in extreme situations. If you have ever, in your life done something more dangerous than walk across the street. Read this book

a little hype, but very well reached.
Revisado: 10-17-19
the author has a propensity to hype up a lot of the finer details. but this is easily forgiven ,given the excellent nature of the books cadence and research.

Historia
When Ted Simon rode 64,000 miles round the world on his 500c Triumph Tiger, he inspired thousands of motorcyclists to begin their own adventures, including Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman, who chronicled their travels in Long Way Round. Nearly 30 years later, Ted Simon took to the road again to retrace the epic journey he made in his 40s. He meets up with old friends and acquaintances, revisits old landmarks and locations, and rediscovers himself, as well as the world, along the way.

excellent
Revisado: 07-30-18
this is very well read with excellent impressions or accents and people. the book is almost as good as the first. the author holds different views than my own, but his points are well made and hold my attention. however I must say he is borderline supercilious in his views and writing. a sin forgivable given what he has done. e excellent book.

Historia
On October 6, 1973, Ted Simon knew there was no going back. He loaded up his 500cc Triumph Tiger in the pouring rain and said good-bye to London. Over four years he rode 64,000 miles round the world. Breakdowns, revolutions, war, a spell in prison, and a Californian commune were all part of his experience, which was colored variously by utter despair and unimaginable joy. He was treated as a spy, a god, a welcome stranger and a curiosity

I dont know why this isn't a more famous story.
Revisado: 07-26-18
this was a beautifully read book. the readers ability to do a south African accent and a Australian and all the rest made the exspreiance. the story is a epic like story. this combines to make a great exsperiance.
I will say that if you have ridden motorcycles and are mecanicly inclined this book will be even more interesting, as you will relate better to the sure feat of traveling the world on a 50s technology bike in the 70s.
wow!

a little over-the-top nice
Revisado: 05-25-17
it seems a little over the in the way that it is constantly complementary to the people and things that occurred in the making of the movie. it almost seems as if Carrie doesn't want to say anything negative in the book at all. but it is still immensely entertaining

"Dr. Livingstone, I presume?" So goes the signature introduction of New York Herald star journalist Henry Morton Stanley to renowned explorer Dr. David Livingstone, who had been missing for six years in the wilds of Africa. Into Africa ushers us into the meeting of these remarkable men. In 1866, when Livingstone journeyed into the heart of the African continent in search of the Nile's source, the land was rough, unknown to Europeans, and inhabited by man-eating tribes.

a well-thought-out story
Revisado: 04-28-17
the story is well explained and thought out with good descriptions of locations times. in an attempt to be thorough to it is complicated Tale the story tends to jump from one location to another making it difficult to follow however it is extremely thorough and you can feel like you're almost walking in Africa
