Jana DeLeon is one of my favorite authors and this series is my favorite! For sheer, laugh-out-loud humor this can't be beat. My only aggravation is the narrator mispronounces our southern Louisiana names, and I assure you that mobsters, born and bred in these swamps, wouldn't have a New York/New Jersey accent. But that's definitely worth putting up with to be able to listen to these books!

Thoroughly enjoyed this story! I'll definitely be listening to this again and again, just like I reread her books so often. Ms. DeLeon's characters are always spot-on for small-town, south Louisiana. I wish so bad I could make this group a quartet! 😃 The only thing that is the littlest bit aggravating is the mispronunciation of Cajun names. I highly recommend this series!
