The information that Andrew Bustamante shares here is applicable to everyday life. My interest was initially in becoming a better listener, not in becoming a spy. This podcast does just that. I'm learning so much and he is easy to understand, shares lots of logical but previously unrecognized information, and I look forward to hearing more. Super stuff here!

It was like bad 1950's radio drama. I finished it but couldn't wait for it to end. Not a single character to care about. Just a lot of overacting.

Another good Koontz novel. No so the narrator.

I know it is probably just me, but what is with grown women (and some men) dropping the "T" sound in words like kitten (Ki-Uhn) or button (buh-un) or saying important as "impor-uhn"? I see it in teenage girls and the glottal stop or T-glottization and a form of this in other cultures, but in a voice actor? "She cou-un shoot him through the cur-uhn." This speech pattern made me cringe every time I heard it (which was frequent) and pulled me out of the storyline. Narrator has a lovely voice, but these types of pronunciations made her sound a bit uneducated (though I'm sure that isn't the case). I'll avoid this narrator in the future...but I hope someone will give her a heads up since this is obviously her profession (unless she sticks to books where a teenage girl is the main character).

Nice story but the narrator not so much

I enjoyed the twists and the plot. Was put off by the narration. Will look for the author, but hopefully they select a different reader.

Not my favorite

I haven't read Stephen King in quite a while and was disappointed. Not nearly as engaging as his earlier works. Not only are his politics interjected as a distraction which affected the reliability of the narrator as it seemed in contradiction with the character but there were gaps and holes that seemed sloppy. I guess I am over King if this is as good as it gets.

Disappointed

This was the first book I have read by the author. Probably won't read another one. The female protagonists were not likeable, but we're whiney messes and I quickly got to the point I didn't care what happened to them. Maybe the movie will be better...let's hope. However, the narrator was excellent and is probably the only reason I trudged through the book.

Everyone needs to read this book, especially in the current political and socially devisive environment. Great research to back up rationale and common sense for this blue planet's residents. Ordering his latest book now!

Disappointing.

Disappointed. Some of the stories were good. Others were a struggle to finish. Haven't read Gaiman in years,and loved American Gods. This was more about performance obviously and story was sadly lacking. The performers were great, but a story about stories that doesn't engage is just sad.
