This audiobook includes The Alpha Plague: Book 7 and The Alpha Plague: Book 8 in a post-apocalyptic action-thriller series. Flynn Golding has lost all of the people close to him. His mom, his dad, and now, Vicky. However, he doesn’t yet know Vicky’s dead, so he doesn’t know who killed her. Convinced that Vicky chose to leave, he’ll find out the truth sooner or later.

I don’t know the reason for the change in narrators but Ellery Truesdell was a poor choice. He does a fine job reading and telling the story it’s just that his voice didn’t do justice to the characters, especially after 6 books narrated by someone else. He sounds like someone who should be narrating children’s books.
Overall I enjoyed the series but did notice some editing mistakes. One of the later books talks of Vicky thinking about her mom not knowing if she was alive or a diseased but the first book killed her mom off. Another time Flynn tells someone he was 6 when his parents died when actually he was 16.
