I really liked it overall, but I was disappointed with the ending. Too bad we can't go back and change history! I was really rooting for Cleopatra, with no real knowledge of the history of Cleopatra it was all a surprise for me.

Could have been a great story.

Slow burn. Anticlimactic. Predictable. It only gets interesting the last 3/4 of the book which makes it hard to really care about characters. I wouldn't recommend this book, but it was fine. I finished it because it's a book club read otherwise I probably would have quit halfway.

Overall entertaining and a good 3rd book. I feel like the book gets a little boring and anticlimactic in the middle/end. There isn't the jaw dropping twists like book 1 and 2. The twist is fine but gets a little diluted by the boring scheming descriptions. Looking forward to book 4 in 2023. Overall do recommend. I still feel like this is top 5 series for me.
