Historia
Marrying Beckett Coleman is the best idea I've had in years. I can grant my sick dad’s wish to walk one of his daughters down the aisle, and Beckett has my help solving a custody situation with his daughter. Our plan is to spend a year together, then part ways. Easy, especially since I'm not his type, and he's not mine either. He’s too quiet and too serious. And while he’s distractingly gorgeous, he’s also my brother’s teammate. Beckett is fake husband material, not the real deal. I just have to remember that.

Beckett, professional football player and dad to Olive. Greer, interior designer, part of a “Brady bunch” style big family. Her brother, Parker, is Beckett’s teammate and friend. This story captured me immediately.
✳️ A fake marriage.
✳️ Some real feelings that quickly develop.
✳️ A little girl that will steal your whole heart.
✳️ A big, loud family that loves hard.
I loved this first book about the Wilder family and can’t wait to dive into book 2.

Josie England couldn’t even fathom being a prisoner of war—but that’s what she’s become. Not that she was in the military, and her country wasn’t even currently at war, but she’s been thrown into a cell in Iran all the same, beaten, forgotten. And now she’s going to die. Of that she is certain. Until a real-life hero is thrown into the next cell.

Josie and “Blink” meet in prison. And not any prison. She’s been there in Iran for weeks. Almost too late to save but Blink gets captured too and is in the cell next to Josie. They bond. And his SEAL buddies come to the rescue.
This book has some wild twists and turns. Josie has to be saved more than once but Blink never gives up on her.
Another Susan Stoker hero to love.

Historia
I’ve crafted my new life in Ember Falls with two simple rules: maintain superficial relationships and always be ready to run. But when my son’s incredibly hot hockey coach Miles Anderson walks in, things get very, very complicated. With his charming smile and our accidental dates, he’s the exact opposite of any man I’ve ever dated. That should make saying yes to being with him simple, but nothing in my life is easy.

One of the very best narrations I’ve listened to this year. Absolutely stunning duet.
Revisado: 03-29-25
Jason and Angelina are two of my favorite performers and this audiobook shines. Miles and Penelope’s story is heart melting, and has some “heart in your throat” moments for sure as Penny is hiding out, running for her life. Miles is just totally swoon worthy. Wow. And the banter among the frisbee team is such fun once again. I loved it all.
Jason’s narration particularly brought this story to life with such emotion, humor, and angst that I stayed up late to listen to the ending. I can’t recommend this enough on audio.
Anotheri beautiful small town romance from Corinne and she once again brings in significant characters from previous books for added fun.

I should’ve known Lincoln Pierce was trouble from the moment I held my knife to his throat. I’ve been running for most of my life, hiding away in a small town and hoping no one discovers who I truly am. The only problem is that I can never let anyone know the real me. Or at least that was true until my brother moved his best friend onto our shared property. Now, I’m stuck trying to avoid the nosy billionaire’s probing questions and piercing stares. And it doesn’t help that I almost killed him the first time we met.

Arden may be my favorite female character ever. And I doubt I’ll ever get over Linc.
In book 4 of the Sparrow Falls series, we learn about Arden, the youngest Colson sibling, who is the most reserved member of the Colson clan and prefers to be with her art, her guard dog, Brutus, and her horses instead of dealing with human interaction. She’s still traumatized from witnessing horror as a child and always on her guard. Meeting Lincoln and pulling a knife on him is, well, pure Arden. She’s fiery. I absolutely adored her from page 1.
Lincoln is best friend to Arden’s brother, Cope, and a billionaire entrepreneur and owner of Cope’s professional hockey team. Linc is living in Cope’s home while his new vacation home is being built and is immediately fascinated with the fierce beauty who also lives on the property - Cope’s little sister. Arden hates that Linc is invading her secluded space and hates even more that she can’t stop thinking about him, staring at him, instead of focusing on her art. Let the awkwardness begin!
This couple totally captured my heart on so many levels. Arden and Linc are both battling demons. Keeping secrets. Running from the past. They are fighters in every way, facing danger together, and my heart was clamoring for them to give into their feelings. Linc becomes so protective of Arden and as he digs his way into her walled off heart, she becomes the fierce protector of him too.
Arden’s art. The way Catherine describes it is absolutely brilliant. At times, heartbreaking. You can actually feel her pain. Her talent. Her darkness. And her eventual light. Thanks to Linc.
“𝓢𝓸𝓶𝓮𝓽𝓲𝓶𝓮𝓼 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓷𝓮𝓮𝓭 𝓽𝓸 𝓫𝓵𝓮𝓮𝓭 𝓽𝓸 𝓫𝓵𝓸𝓸𝓶.”
There is so much to this story, to this book, that it’s impossible to mention it all. We once again get the Colson family and their group texts which always provide the smiles. And grandma Lolli gives us laugh out loud moments as usual. But here we also meet Brutus, Arden’s amazing guard dog and the children Arden works with, especially 7-year old Benny who’s definitely gonna steal your heart. He did mine. Plus we meet Linc’s sister, Ellie. She has her own story to tell and we will get more . . . SOON. Can’t wait!
Thank you Catherine for this heartbreakingly, beautiful story. Thank you Samantha and Sebastian for your exceptional narrations of every character in this story.
Never did two people deserve a HEA more.

Historia
When introverted cartoonist Remi Stephenson dumps her cheating ex and goes on their Hawaiian vacation solo, even her creative mind can’t imagine being purposely stranded in the ocean…with a handsome, muscular, brave Navy SEAL. Even more unbelievable is the spark between them. Surely this is just rebound hormones. Right? Because who finds their soulmate in the middle of a life-or-death situation? And what would a SEAL want with a curvy, nerdy artist, anyway? Of course, none of those doubts stop Remi and Vincent from making plans to get together back in California, even before they’re rescued.

Narrators are once again perfect performers in this new series, book 1
Revisado: 03-17-25
The audiobook is top notch. Narrators once again bring the story to life perfectly. This first book in this new series brings with it a brand new team of SEALS and is another fabulous Susan Stoker read. The SEALS and their women from Wolf’s team are featured too. Vincent “Kevlar” Hill and Remi Stephenson are an unlikely match; both coming off of disastrous relationships but stranded in Hawaii together, they immediately fall for each other. But. The danger isn’t over once they return home to California as Kevlar is betrayed by someone he trusted. And. Remi is saved by someone no one really trusts anymore. I loved the drama, the romance, the danger, all of it as usual with Susan’s books. Looking forward to more from this new group of SEALS in future books in this series.

I’d always dreamed of my wedding day. But not like this. Not looking into the eyes of the man who betrayed me. But when my nephew’s guardianship is contested, I decide I’ll do whatever it takes to keep him in Rose Hill. Even if it means marrying the enemy. Rhys Dupris. A man who is secretive, broody, and completely infuriating. A man whose work takes him away for weeks on end and brings him back covered in mysterious bruises—ones he won’t talk about. In fact, we barely talk at all.

Ever heard the one about the rom-com princess who gets swept off her feet by her fake fiancé? Yeah, that’s not my story. I’m an actress whose reputation is currently circling the drain, thanks to a string of public relationship disasters. All I want is to adopt a baby and leave my tabloid trainwreck days behind me. When the adoption agency doubts my ability to provide a stable home life, I agree to a fake engagement with a guy who screamed “PR-approved.” Easy enough—until Archer Corbett blows it all to pieces.

Revisado: 03-12-25
The narrators bring this beautiful story to life perfectly. Ava Erickson and Lee Samuels are perfectly cast. Set in dual narration, it’s a captivating listen and definitely hard to let this story leave your ears. I was up way late listening. Book 5, the final book (say it isn’t so!) in the gorgeous Buttercup Hill series, set in the beautiful Napa Valley, centers on eldest Corbett sibling, Archer and actress Ella who arrives at Buttercup Hill to tour the winery for her upcoming wedding. An arranged marriage to help her career and much more. Not exactly how Ella saw her wedding. Archer, the grumpy winemaker, wants no part of any of it including the bride who is interested in the actual winemaking process and needs Archer to show her the particulars. To keep the peace among his siblings, Archer reluctantly agrees and this sets the stage for an intriguing, romantic, emotional story. I cried happy tears in chapter 38. Couldn’t help it. Oh Archer you ARE a good guy. And the Epilogue? Family. All about family. Beautiful way to end the series. I couldn’t stop smiling until the last words were spoken from this brilliant audiobook. Five. Huge. Stars.
