Historia
I was courageously invited by my wife’s family and my clients to look at Christianity and the Bible as a therapist and evaluate their value using my standards for mental health. My mind went into an entirely new level of functioning with what I discovered from the Great Within. We need to be confident in these conversations with Christians, because we have the high ground. Psychology, history, and research are on the side of Truth and not Christianity.

point #28 help: title the book "50 ways to let your intellect work against you"

the language used by the author gives strong sense of resentment towards his personal experience with "christianity" with some highly intellectual but mostly opinionated viewpoints. he gives a lot of interesting statistics and factoids but nothing actually specific to christianity. the points made can go for any religion in general. due to the fact that Christ is the most iconic figure in history and is the leaven of modern society, it is just as easy to claim that christianity is the cause of modern problems as it would be to say it's the solution to the exact same problems. he could easily rewrite the book and call it "breathing air is my mental disorder" or "having eyes is my mental disorder. if i could place wagers on it, I would bet that absolutely ZERO of the patients/clients in reference(as well as the author)have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ themselves. their difficulties with life and expectations of others shows that as a common theme just as those of a countless number or Roman catholic"christians" or mormon"christians" and Muslims or jews or interdenominationals who attempt to have an impossible human relationship with laws and codes and books and 3rd party teachings rather than a real internal human relationship with the holy spirit. but I imagine it's hard to make recurring revenue and a comfortable living as a shrink who actually knows how to put these misguided "christians" in the humble presence of the true holy spirit of christ. I encourage the author to continue to seek out the real Jesus, trust him and him alone, and forgive himself for trusting the teachings of Joseph Smith or the Pope or Muhammad or whoever else for so long to his spiritual detriment. readers proceed with caution because this is nearly 500 pages of your life that you'll never get back
