Historia
In the year 2045, reality is an ugly place. The only time Wade Watts really feels alive is when he’s jacked into the OASIS, a vast virtual world where most of humanity spends their days. When the eccentric creator of the OASIS dies, he leaves behind a series of fiendish puzzles, based on his obsession with the pop culture of decades past. Whoever is first to solve them will inherit his vast fortune—and control of the OASIS itself.

Brilliant
Revisado: 12-14-11
Easily one of the best books I have read all year. Wil Wheaton is excellent as the reader - he really brought the main character to life. His voice was perfect for this.
I would classify it as a bit of The Hunger Games and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. A virtual cyber race to inherit the big corporation with lots of 80s trivia, solving clues, and classic computer/video games, all while trying to stay alive in a depressing future.
Really enjoyed it.

Historia
Here is the laugh-out-loud daily chronicle of a hilarious year in the life of the devastatingly self-aware Bridget Jones. The basis for the film starring Renee Zellweger. And don't miss the sequel: Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason.

Audio best
Revisado: 10-05-05
I agree with the other reviewer that the audio is better than the book. Since so much of Bridget's personality is just sort of talking to herself, the movie just doesn't do that justice, and the book doesn't quite pick up the British vibe like the audio. The narrator really picks up who she is and I laughed out loud at this book. Great job.
Make sure you get 'Edge of Reason' also. Continuation of the story.
