Great musician and a great human being.
Revisado: 05-28-21
It is so enthralling to get a chance to look into the thoughts and aspirations of a person who's music has touch my heart for many year. The depth of this yearning for peace and brotherhood with all nations, may well come about, by the example he puts before us. A shared humanity though music , the arts and indeed through all the noble and good efforts of the enlightened minds now spreading throughout world.

Historia
The Mongol queens of the thirteenth century ruled the greatest empire the world has ever known. Yet sometime near the end of the century, censors cut a section from The Secret History of the Mongols, leaving a single tantalizing quote from Genghis Khan: “Let us reward our female offspring.”

transported.
Revisado: 08-18-11
Once again Mankell has transported me from my mundane life to one of adventure and pathos. From Africa to Sweden. The amazing thing is the personal life of detective Wallander so parallels the lives that people in his age group are experiencing at this moment in time. Family problems, parents ill and dying, adult children without direction, divorce, searching for meaning and love, being under appreciated for the work they do, and along side this he weaves an enthralling mystery that keeps you involved with the plot. A Great Writer and a great Book.
