Historia
All I wanted to do was disappear, to get out of a bad situation. I never expected my saving grace to come in the form of three roommates; three male roommates. I found myself inexplicably drawn to Chase...and Patton...and Tyler. It was all just effortless and uncomplicated. The connections formed so quickly that these men made it easy to get back on my feet. Once I realized that I wasn't getting hustled and that these men cared about me in a way I hadn't been before, the connection soon turned into something more.

Coercion and ignoring boundaries are not consent. From crazy abusive ex to SA, possessiveness, and coercion. DNF - do not recommend.

Historia
Todd Hewitt is the only boy in a town of men. Ever since the settlers were infected with the Noise germ, Todd can hear everything the men think, and they hear everything he thinks. Todd is just a month away from becoming a man, but in the midst of the cacophony, he knows that the town is hiding something from him - something so awful Todd is forced to flee with only his dog, whose simple, loyal voice he hears too. With hostile men from the town in pursuit, the two stumble upon a strange and eerily silent creature: a girl. Who is she?

TSTL MC- but physically miraculous: MC and villains overcoming fatal injuries over and over.

Being a small dungeon on the outskirts of town in the backwaters of an unimportant kingdom isn't easy, but Kelsey's done her best to level up and become the best dungeon she can be: Digging a hole of ever-increasing depth and complexity. Creating an undead atmosphere that would make a necromancer proud. Spawning monsters and treasure. Killing adventurers. But lately, things have gotten a bit stale.

This feels like a man wrote a woman to be the MC because he thinks women can get away with SA, especially if they're "hot".

All she wanted to do was live her life in peace—maybe get a cat, expand the family spice farm. Really, anything that didn't involve going on an adventure where an orc might rip her face off. But they say the Goddess has favorite, and if so, Cin is clearly not one of them... After saving the demon Fallon in a wine-drunk stupor, all Fallon wants to do is kill an evil witch enslaving his people. And, who can blame him? But he's dragging Cinnamon along for the ride. On the bright side, at least he keeps burning off his shirt.

I love that this reluctant heroine still didn’t make any super bad decisions. No sneaking or lying or miscommunications dragging the story. This was quick, solid, fun- and hot sex scenes.

Historia
In 2059, two vastly different groups of people portrayed by the compelling trio of Brendan Fraser (Academy Award winner), Luke Kirby (Emmy Award winner), and Vanessa Sears (Dora Award winner) undergo cryonic suspension. While their bodies are frozen, their minds, still active and awake, are uploaded into a massive quantum computer. The first group are all astronauts, about to leave Earth on a one-way interstellar colonization mission. The second group consists of convicted murderers and volunteers who elect to serve their sentences in a virtual-reality prison.

Not for me
Revisado: 01-08-24
I'm not a huge fan of radio-show-style audiobooks. The music, sound effects, and long pauses between chapters are jarring compared to the video that's already playing in my head. I guess it's not entirely fair, I knew that going in. But the story premise was great and I'm a Brendan Frasier fan so figured I'd give it a go. I think everyone did a great job. The only problem I had with the story is that there is so much going on, the ending felt abrupt. It makes sense if this is a planned series- there's so much potential there.

Historia
EarthCore is the company with the technology, the resources, and the guts to go after the mother lode. Young executive Connell Kirkland is the company's driving force, pushing himself and those around him to uncover the massive treasure. But at three miles below the surface, where the rocks are so hot they burn bare skin, something has been waiting for centuries. Waiting...and guarding. Kirkland and EarthCore are about to find out first-hand why this treasure has never been unearthed.

Fine- interesting premise
Revisado: 11-20-23
I bought this for the narrator. I was annoyed by characters acting unlike who their core personas were supposed to be. I feel like Veronica Reeves especially acts completely out of character. There are no archaeologists/anthropologists who would be turned off of their world-changing anthropology/archaeology work by discovering bodies that were... slightly more recent than they were expecting? That "Oh these are actual AMERICANS! I suddenly 'respect the dead' and don't want to move human knowledge forward anymore" AYFKM? That would make 0 difference on persuading a scientist to turn a murderous capitalist. This is a murder fantasy of "other", with humans as bloodthirsty monsters even *after* "discovering" that the enemy in question is likely a group of mentally stunted and inbred people who lost their history, who were war refugees just living their lives in hiding to avoid hurting the native populations and defending themselves when attacked. Bizarrely I think the author is trying to say that genocide is good, actually, because humans and "Merica and maybe money? Logic unclear.

When Finlay Ashowan joins the staff of the King and Queen of Daxaria, he’s an enigma. No one knows where he comes from or how he came to be where he is, which suits Fin just fine. He’s satisfied simply serving as the royal cook, keeping nosy passersby out of his kitchen, and concocting some truly uncanny meals. But Fin’s secret identity doesn’t stay hidden for long. After all, it’s not every day a house witch and his kitten familiar, Kraken, take to meddling in imperial affairs.

Historia
Dr. Tyson Klein is a quantum physicist who has dedicated his entire life to his research. At CERN, he analyses data generated by the Large Hadron Collider, the world's biggest and most powerful particle accelerator. Now, Ty believes he's found a pattern in its output. It looks like an organised data stream, being broadcast over what he calls a quantum radio. Could it be a signal from another universe? A message sent from the future? Or something else entirely?

Revisado: 05-24-23
Pearl clutching about increasing Islamic terrorism since 9/11 (so a parallel timeline I guess), the evils of science, the world falling apart to globalists and currency destabilizing (I'm sure silver and gold are doing great), Texas and other southern states seceding (Lonestar Nation, LMFAO) with a sincere posit that they would have a functional military... and drug decriminalization *causing* drug crime somehow (the opposite of reality)? The main villain is a terrorist group called "Millenials" with a tagline statement mirroring Anonymous. Their agenda is to prevent the "Singularity" which they said so far is AI taking over I guess? It's rough, hoss (lol)... I'm struggling to finish this.

Historia
On the alien, sunless planet they call Eden, the 532 members of the Family shelter beneath the light and warmth of the Forest's lantern trees. Beyond the Forest lie the mountains of the Snowy Dark and a cold so bitter and a night so profound that no man has ever crossed it. The Oldest among the Family recount legends of a world where light came from the sky, where men and women made boats that could cross the stars. These ships brought us here, the Oldest say - and the Family must only wait for the travelers to return.

The narrators are all great. The story is a little difficult to believe, humans are curious by nature. The society backslid and stagnated way too quickly. I did like seeing the language progression, I thought it was well done.
