Educational, worth listening, but a bit too poetic
Revisado: 01-23-23
I was introduced to a lot of great thinkers and concepts in this audiobook, and I'm gratful for that. However, some parts were too metaphorical or poetic to easily understand for me. A lot of flowery language that was difficult for me to follow. Overall though, worth the time.

Historia
The most joyful emanation produced by a colony of bees is known as the "song of increase" - declaring that the hive is flourishing and the bees are happy in its abundance. Song of Increase takes us inside the world of the honeybee to glean the wisdom of these fascinating creatures with whom humanity has shared a sacred bond for millennia. Within these minutes is a bee-centric approach to living with honeybees, rather than advice for simply maximizing the products they provide.

Written with good intention, but too spiritual
Revisado: 08-26-19
The Author is no doubt a sweet, knowledgable and loving beekeeper... but this title is 20% useful content and 80% new-age pseudoscience. Unless you already subscribe to the ideas of chakras, third-eyes, and natural healing, you will find very little of this book worthwhile.

Historia
Ancient Egyptian civilization is so grand our minds sometimes have difficulty adjusting to it. It lasted 3,000 years, longer than any other on the planet. Its Great Pyramid of Cheops was the tallest building in the world until well into the 19th century and remains the only Ancient Wonder still standing. And it was the most technologically advanced of the ancient civilizations, with the medical knowledge that made Egyptian physicians the most famous in the world.
