I’m so happy I got the audiobook. It really brought the story to life. This series is full of drama, angst, action, and total MFC bad@ssery! I love the main characters so much. They all play their role in the story really well and keep you entertained. The world and character development is also very well written. I recommend this series!

What the…wow!

Holy crap. What a crazy ride this book was. I swear my anxiety about what would happen next drove me nutty in the best way possible. The bad guy characters were written so good! Love to hate the bad guy. The fight scenes were so well written I felt like I was there watching it happen in real time. I love this series and definitely recommend it to everyone so good!

Wow!

I’m not going to lie, I wasn’t skeptical about this book for some odd reason, but I got it anyway. And I’m so glad I did! I love this world. I wish it didn’t end. The story takes you on twists and turns of confusion and answers and love and steam. And magic and monsters… but I don’t think monsters is the right term. There is a line of thinking in the story from one of the main characters that goes something like “We aren’t monsters, we are just different” and that is what they are.
The story centers on a young woman who has had a hard life of abandonment and mental insecurities because she has a talking bird that no one else sees, which leads her mom to abandon her to a mental institution. She finds her way to a job opening and on a whim decides to go check it out. After that she in thrust into a curse that has her questioning her sanity again. I can’t say more without giving anything away, so I’m just doing to say the description does not do this book Justice. Give it a try, you won’t regret it. I sure didn’t. This book is also duel POV which I love.

I was apprehensive about this story. But wow! I absolutely loved it!!! Sooo sooo sooo good ! I highly recommend adding this to your collection.

Mixed feelings

Wow. Okay, I have a lot of mixed feelings about this story. About 89% of the book is recap but through Cliffs POV. Even though I knew there would be a lot of recap, I still had a lot of high expectations for cliffs story. And I feel a little let down. It might have been better if I haven’t read all the books over and over and over and needed the reminders of things that happened. But either way I wasn’t expecting it to take up pretty much all of the story. That being said I enjoyed learning the new things like his relationship with Emma, and what happened to cliff before he walked out of the forest. But even though I’m sure many will be happy with the ending, I wish it had went another way. It’s not a bad story, I couldn’t put it down until I finished it, but I feel a little sad because of how much things will change with the ending. But I’m sure not many will agree with me. I just had certain ideas that
I hoped would take place lol. So it’s not fair for me to say so. Oh well. I still would recommend people read this story, just be prepared for a lot of refreshing.

Wow! I just have to start with the ending because it was my favorite! The little snipet at the end with Nix made me so giddy. I can’t wait until her book! But back to this one. A lot of dram, a lot of heat. A sassy woman and bullheaded male as usual but a really good story. I’m not sorry I got the book. Isn’t my favorite of them all but it’s worth buying. Now…. Let’s get to nix’s story soon please!

I’m so ready for nix’s book Gesh. When will it be here lol.. as for this book it was another wonder story. I loved the two main characters. Many parts had me giggling at the MFC’s personality. Don’t skip over this beauty.

Another good story

Although I really enjoyed this story, the MFC drove me a little crazy. It must be my age of 34 or something but this chit was just very immature at times. The love triangle/unrequited love was slightly irritating. But not so much that I didn’t still enjoy it. Another good story to add to the long list of Ms Cole.
