Really loved this one! The narration is really what made this book amazing! Obviously the story is great too! But I wish more authors would spring for the full cast or duet narration it makes a huge difference!

Honestly disappointed

So disappointed in this book. The first one was so good but this one was lacking everything! The only reason I kept listening was the narrator’s excellent performance and I was hoping it would get better. I won’t be continuing.

Excellent continuation

As with the first book there are parts of this one that are slow and repetitive but if you look past that the story is so good. I love that the FMC is a badass and continues to prove it over and over saving herself and others multiple times. I also love the slow burn and slow build of the story and figuring out secrets one at a time. The narration is once again excellent! I wish the author had sprung for duet narration but it’s excellent anyway. My only complaint is that the pov is not stated at the beginning of the chapter so it is a little confusing until you figure out whose mind you’re in. Can’t wait for the next one! Definitely recommend!!

Equally frustrating and captivating

If I had to hear about the FMC “gulping” in every situation one more time I might have thrown my phone. Talk about a repetitive phrase. That being said the story itself was good. I don’t think I’ll continue this series though.

Very interesting!

Best part is the true duet narration! The narrators are excellent!

The storyline is very good, super interesting. Just a little annoyed the other books aren’t available yet.

Absolutely love this one!

The first several chapters are slooooow and lots of repetitive phrases. Once you get past all that, the actual story and character development is just perfection!
My only complaint is that it’s not duet narration, however the narrators did a fantastic job!
Also very sad I have to wait for the next one to come out. Highly recommend!

Truly amazing narrator

The story is great. I love how Wilde can actually
focus on the tasks she’s given. It’s definitely a YA book, but they can be fun sometimes.

This Narrator has to be the most talented I’ve ever heard! She is sooooooo impressive doing so many voices and you can always tell which character is speaking. I will definitely listen to her other works.

No redeeming qualities

I wanted to love this book! The characters just weren’t interesting enough for me. The MFC is literally scared of her own shadow😕 the MMC don’t have enough redeeming qualities for me to swoon over. The narrator gave me anxiety, but it could just be the character she was reading. I won’t be continuing the story.

This was so good! At first I wasn’t sure because I’ve read a few other books with the same storyline. But the characters are what puts this one apart from the others. Also there is really nothing better than duet narration!! The narrators were excellent!! I’ll be reading this one again!
