Absolutely love this series. Love the narration by Elizabeth Evans! Yet again a great performance to do this fantastic story and all the characters justice.

A fantastic epic fantasy that kept me on edge throughout!

Amazing storytelling and world building. Such an epic fantasy with everything one loves in a book; action, drama, mystery and great character and relationship growth. Really enjoyed the parellel plots and loved each and every character and how they worked together as a team. Can't pick a favorite. Also the performance by the audiobook narrator was phenomenal!.

An emotional rollercoaster but one of top reads this year! A must read!

Loved the story! Definitely deserves all the hype it gets. It had everything you can want from a book, there were friendships, love, loss, grief and heartache. It just makes you feel. It had amazing twists that kept you on edge and leave your emotions all over the place. The characters showed great growth. And the pacing was perfecr, it never felt like it ever dragged.
Arianna is a beautiful character you love straight away and Noah Riley is just the epitome of a woman's dream come true 😍 The ultimate book boyfriend.
The narrators did a fantastic job with performing the audio book as well.

Amazing Epic Fantasy

Loved the story, highly recommend for epic fantasy lovers. It was well written with great world building and characters. Excited to read the next one. I enjoyed the narrator's performance as well.

cute friends to lovers small town romance

This was a good read but not the best by this author. It was a bit slow to start and had alot going on and wish there was more on the actual couple itself too. But definitely we'll written, filled with drama and had a nice twist in the end.
The narrators did an amazing job. Very good performance by both 👏

This was a new to me author and was on my TBR OK.


the longest time and finally gave it a go as I was in the mood for a mafia romance. Since it's a mafia romance, it has dark themes, so check trigger warnings.
The MMC is a dark, hot, and sexy mafia hitman and a professional boxer with a difficult childhood who grew up in the foster system and got into street fights. He is now looking to find a way out by returning what he owes to the mafia by winning the unification title fight and using that fame and money and allow them to use his new night club for laundering their money.
The FMC is a British American who came to NY on a scholarship and has a passion for social work but works in a law firm as it's more financially stable. She had a traumatic past with a history of child abuse by her alcoholic mother after her dad abandoned them.
The attraction and lust between the leads is instant and intense. Great chemistry and sex scenes.
That is where the good basically ends. The plot had potential but never led to anything. The characters had no growth or development. The dialog was unrealistic as no one talks like that. The number of nicknames he uses for her was just too much.

Then there was the unnecessary pregnancy test and third act breakup, with a lot of back and forth and repitition which just dragged the book for no reason.
It was the author's first book, so I understand it's not perfect and since there was some things I liked I may give the next one a try at some point.


Coming to the audiobook performance, the male narrator was so bad at accents and had such an annoying female voice. The female narrators was a bit better. Her own female leads narration and dialogue was okay and she did okay with the accent as well. But her attempt at the male voice was cringe and took me out of the story. Overall performance was bad. Would have been better if these narrators stick to duet style narration as they clearly can't do the voice for the opposite sex.

Amazing book and great duet narration

This was a phenomenal mafia romance that had me hooked and wanting more and the performance by the narrators made it even more enjoyable. Loved that it was a duet and both narrators sounded exactly how I would imagine the characters would sound and speak. Both narrators have great range and I was easily able to follow along when they had to play two different characters. They also did really good with the accents.

overall a perfect performance and audiobook.

Great Narration and Amazing story!

Both narrators did a wonderful job 👏 I really enjoyed the audio book and was able to follow along easily even with the male narrator doing multiple MMCs. The female narration was great too and could portrayed the FMCs emotions very well.


This was a new to me author, and I am so glad I decided to pick this up, and I am in LOVE. 😍

Order of Scorpions is an extremely well written standalone, why-choose romantasy that had great world building and was full of action. It was a slow burn, but when we got to the spice, it was hot 🔥

Auset, the FMC, was a strong badass female, and despite all the challenges, hardships and the things she may have done to survive, she has never given up and never lost a sense of morality.
I especially loved how the author managed to portray Ausets' thoughts and emotions as I could feel them as my own and felt so connected to her character. I really appreciated her character arc and seeing her grow and develop.

The pacing was a bit slow, but I felt it was the beauty of this story! The depth of which the thoughts, doubts, insecurities, and emotions were described and sifted through as a person would make it so relatable. And I personally love a slow burn. Also the deliciously hot spice we got more than made up for it.

The three MMCs, Really, Curio and Tarek, were the perfectly deadly, morally grey, obsessive, possessive Alpha males that knew how to worship their woman. They were the support Auset needed and were patient with her by giving her time and space to make her own decision, knowing they would do anything to ensure she was happy in the end, with them of course.

I would highly recommend this book to all why choose, reverse harem and fantasy lovers. Can't wait to read more by this author 😍

Amazing storyline that kept you hooked!

The writing and plot was phenomonal. The mystery and secrets kept me on edge. The spice was hot. And the characters were complex and well developed. I'm looking forward to reading the next one. The narration was well done too.
