From a novel to a liberal rant
Revisado: 01-28-24
This could’ve been a very good book if it wasn’t so repetitive, and if it didn’t go into such political liberal rants about Guns, January 6, Etc. etc. I just get so tired of having ridiculous narratives shoved down my throat. Bad guys can get ahold of a gun no matter what the laws. I hate that it turned into a political lecture.

Riveting. I couldn’t stop listening to this book! Seriously, there was never a dull moment. I felt like I was living Alice’s life right along with her. I loved all the God moments in the lowest and highest points of her life. Narrator is amazing as well. That makes or breaks an audiobook so I was happy how well read the book was. God bless you Ms Alice Johnson! And God bless President Trump and all the wonderful people that made your freedom possible. You are a walking talking miracle of JESUS’s grace and mercy.

I’m amazed that anyone could right this thorough of a book with the pace of our President and all the daily events taking place. I loved every minute of it, especially since Judge Jeanine is also the narrator.

Historia
In his three decades of recording, Prince has had nearly thirty albums hit the Billboard Top 100. He is the only artist since the Beatles to have a number one Album movie, and single at the same time. Prince’s trajectory - from a teenage unknown in Minneapolis to an idol and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer - has won him millions of adoring fans. Prince is the first book to give full treatment to this thirty-year career of epic proportions. Acclaimed music journalist Ronin Ro traces Prince’s rise from anonymity in the late 70s, to his leap to stardom in the 80s, to his 21st-century reemergence....

Historia
Hounded by the tabloid media, driven from his self-made sanctuary at Neverland, Michael Jackson spent his final years moving from city to city, living with his three children in virtual seclusion - a futile attempt to escape a world that wouldn’t leave him alone. During that time, two men served as the singer’s personal security team: Bill Whitfield, a former cop and veteran of the security profession, and Javon Beard, a brash, untested rookie, both single fathers themselves. Stationed at his side nearly 24/7, their job was to see and hear everything that transpired.

Historia
For O.J. Simpson to get away with murder, an innocent cop, a brilliant detective, had to be destroyed. That was the cynical strategy of the Simpson defense. But as certainty about Simpson's guilt grew, so did the outrage about the scapegoating of Mark Fuhrman. Now the former LAPD detective tells his side of the story in a damning expose.

I would hate to be Mark Fuhrman
Revisado: 04-11-16
This case should never have boiled down to race. Johnny Cockran is to blame for a killer walking free. Mark Fuhrman is just ignorant for being a cop and letting himself be taped saying the hate filled things he was saying...real or not. Thank God OJ ended up behind bars anyway...all because of his greed.

The definitive account of the O. J. Simpson trial, The Run of His Life is a prodigious feat of reporting that could have been written only by the foremost legal journalist of our time. First published less than a year after the infamous verdict, Jeffrey Toobin's nonfiction masterpiece tells the whole story, from the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman to the ruthless gamesmanship behind the scenes of "the trial of the century".

I really enjoyed listening to this narrator. This book was very well written and very thorough. I would have loved to see the jurors faces when OJ got arrested for armed robbery. Good thing they were not on that jury. God bless Nicole's family and Ron Goldman's family.

Captivating... True war stories are fascinating!
Revisado: 03-07-15
Being only a civilian and never having served in any form of military life, I thought that I would have a hard time relating to the lingo and such, but the author did a very good job explaining every acronym and other terminology as he went along. That was very helpful and allowed me to experience the events as they took place as if I was there. The narrator did a great job as well and was very pleasant to listen to.
This audio book was well worth my credit and I would recommend it to anyone - especially those who like nonfiction historical type books.
