I can’t lie, I almost stopped numerous times in the first couple chapters and returned this one. There’s some thing about and the way she speaks that kind of turned me off almost to the point of pulling the plug. I’m glad I didn’t because although stylistically it wasn’t for me, the content is worth sticking through it for. There were a couple parts I did find pretty funny, but ultimately was convinced to give the final star in the last couple chapters. I think I may even listen again!

powerful. disturbing. A MUST LISTEN

This is a great book for those that are ready to lean into a look at our nation's history sans the manufactured narratives that hide some of the ugliness. I am no less patriotic, but feel deeply saddened and also called to compassionate action. This is a great book for those open to expanding their perspective.

I've listened to dozens and dozens of audiobooks, and this one ranks among the top-five, easily.

This is a great book and Richard Rohr narrates his work extremely well. I wish he performed more of his titles! He is an excellent author that writes in ways that penetrate into comprehension and relativity across different levels of intellect and that breaks down constructs of categorization that have became barriers to deeper understanding... let's just say you should read this book, and any others of R. Rohr's that you can get your hands on!

Not really. It provided a little bit of food-for-thought, at best.

The meat of this book could've been covered in an article. I felt like I wasted my time even listening to it, honestly.

Dr. Bill Creasy provides a thorough academic type analysis of the Bible supported by research and archaeological studies yet he does so with ease and in a way that's easy to understand given that he is a natural and engaging storyteller.
