Historia
Reyna Darragh despises the scheming ways of the fae courts—she'd rather be on the battlefield. But as the daughter of a High King, her hand in marriage can end the war faster than her sword. So, with her realm in tatters, she agrees to marry her enemy, Prince Thane. The very same prince who killed hundreds of her kind during the war. Reyna has a far greater scheme in mind. To save her kingdom from the vicious prince, she plans to marry him, make him king, and then murder him so that she can take the throne herself. But as she grows closer to securing the crown, traitorous desire stirs.

This is one of my favorite Narrators, the story was overall good but the writing was a little amateurish.

Historia
Of all the worlds and life they created, the gods favored their children the most. But with that favor came the fear that their Legacy would one day become too powerful and overthrow them. Devram was created. A realm hidden amongst the stars. The gods gave their Legacy the best of all the worlds, and then they left, a sworn agreement to never return and to never interfere.

Good story but Petulant FML
Revisado: 04-02-25
I still have 6 hrs left and even though the story is good and I love the Female narrator, the FML is so whiny it can be hard to listen to. I don’t like petulant female characters that act like being bratty and stubborn over every little thing is strength. There could have been a way to this without the constant complaining and whining. I rolled my eyes so many times. How can a character who was raised to serve and fear a race a beings be so comfortable talking back, defying and being straight up rude all the time? It didn’t make sense and was often times hard to listen to.

Huntyr knew better than to trust anyone. She made it into The Golden City, only to find out that everything she dreamed of was gone. There is no safety, no luxury, no elite society. There's only the evil archangel and his dark, twisted plans to use her for power. Those plans include marrying Huntyr and Wolf, even though she'd rather die than be wed to him.

Weak heroine
Revisado: 01-30-25
For a supposedly badass vampire killer she complained an awful lot and had a defeatist attitude about nearly everything. I couldn’t understand the nearly constant state of denial and how anyone could fall immediately in love with someone angry all the time

Should have just kept 1 narrator
Revisado: 12-19-24
I usually don’t mind male/ female narrators but for this story the males voice just didn’t fit Plus his pauses after each sentence was just a second too long. The female narrator is amazing and she could have easily carried the story as she did in the first book. Over all I love these books and this author.

So whiny
Revisado: 09-30-24
Morgan is being so whiny and petulant, I thought she was supposed to be 20 not 5. So self righteous and works hard to misunderstand and the tantrums….. Why does she always have to be panicking, angry, whiny, worried or be responding with a pissy/childish remark? Yet the male lead is so patient and attracted to her? Why?!? I hate not finishing a series but I may need to take a break from the constant stubbornness and complaining

A bit juvenile
Revisado: 07-04-24
The writing was a bit on the juvenile side and the FMC a bit too petulant for my liking. I could see lots of good thoughts that just weren’t flushed out well. Things just fell into place too easily and conveniently to be believable, even in a fantasy world. Seemed like a writers first draft of their first novel. I’ve already purchased the rest so I hope they get better.

Good grief……
Revisado: 05-28-24
I really like the premise of the story but good grief the constant doubt and self pity the FMC has is just grating on my nerves. And the stupid choices. There are several chapters fighting to find a cure before she even tries to use healing power? All the while I’m yelling in my head, use your damn power! It’s like the author needs to fill a word count so instead of substance he filled it with internal monologue of her self pity and manufactured anger. There are a lot of good parts but damn I just want to slap her and tell her to snap out of it!

Historia
Fae exist only in children’s stories, or so I thought. That was before a nightmarish creature of the Fae Realm dropped into my life. He claimed a seven-pointed mark on my skin signified my magical lineage, the bit of DNA my mother passed down. Days after I arrive in the Fae Realm, I’m thrown into a series of trials titled ‘The Devotion’. I must compete with demons, vampires, elves and more who want to claim their place at the future King’s side. I have no interest in this guy, but it doesn’t help that the King-to-be is a gorgeous, brooding fae.

Horrible narration
Revisado: 05-05-24
The narrator made it so hard to listen to, she made the main character sound like a teenager and spoke so slowly for the men they sounded unintelligent and I had to speed it up to try and make it bearable. The story itself had little to no development, one moment they hated each other yet immediately crave each other. Then despite humiliation and disgust the last time they saw each other suddenly now they can’t keep their hands off each other? Where was the growth? It made no sense. I’m blade it was free and I have no desire to put myself through the other 2 books

Stephanie Willis is Amazing
Revisado: 03-24-24
Stephanie Willis is such an amazing narrator! She really pulls you in and makes you feel every emotion. I really wish the whole book was narrated by just her. Not such a fan of the male narrator, especially when compared to Stephanie. Not enough variation between characters. His voice sounds nice but it just sounds like he’s reading a book to you as opposed to acting out a story.
