Historia
Vera Wong is a lonely little old lady—ah, lady of a certain age—who lives above her forgotten tea shop in the middle of San Francisco’s Chinatown. Despite living alone, Vera is not needy, oh no. She likes nothing more than sipping on a good cup of Wulong and doing some healthy detective work on the Internet about what her Gen-Z son is up to. Then one morning, Vera trudges downstairs to find a curious thing—a dead man in the middle of her tea shop.

I absolutely loved this book. Vera Wong was such a lovable character and her quest for the truth was nonstop comedy. Jesse’s writing was so engaging and I was drawn into each character’s story. I loved this book so much I immediately downloaded all of her other books! Do yourself a favour and listen to this book!

Not worth it

This book was not at all what I expected and definitely not worth the listen. It was long, boring, and incredibly slow moving. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Historia
In September 1994, six friends sat down in their favorite coffee shop and began bantering about sex, relationships, jobs, and just about everything else. A quarter of a century later, new fans are still finding their way into the lives of Rachel, Ross, Joey, Chandler, Monica, and Phoebe, and thanks to the show’s immensely talented creators, its intimate understanding of its youthful audience, and its reign during network television’s last moment of dominance, Friends has become the most influential and beloved show of its era, and this is the story of how it all happened.

Historia
Busy Philipps’ autobiographical audiobook offers the same unfiltered and candid storytelling that her Instagram followers have come to know and love, from growing up in Scottsdale, Arizona, and her painful and painfully funny teen years to her life as a working actress, mother, and famous best friend. Busy is the rare entertainer whose impressive arsenal of talents as an actress is equally matched by her storytelling ability, sense of humor, and sharp observations about life, love, and motherhood. Her conversational writing reminds us what we love about her on screens of all sizes.

Busy is at it again! If you have been following Busy over the years then you will love every minute of this book! She talks everything from Freaks and Geeks and all the way through Cougar Town and leading into her new talk show. She shares lots of personal, emotional and raw stories in between. Such an amazing read and I would highly recommend it!

Not worth it
Revisado: 07-27-17
I bought this book expecting a light hearted story about moving to India. The first half delivered as expected but about halfway through Sarah got spiritual and religious and it went downhill from there. If you are looking for a funny read about exploring a new country and culture this is not the book for you.
