the title says it all. Nothing and nobody are described in detail except for the guns and one Man's penis. the plot is lack luster at best. the characters are boring clichés. don't recommend

I finished the book, it wasn't a painful read per se, but it wasn't great either. It's very 'slice of life', as you pretty much just follow a family grow up. Even the big 'plot twist' had me wanting more. I was hopeful after reading "then she was gone". now that book is phenomenal. I loved it. this book, not si much.

Jim Dale's performance is amazing.

as many I grew up ready Harry Potter. It is pure nostalgia and I love being immersed in the Wizarding world JKR created. Jim Dale's performance as a narrator is excellent

In den letzten 30 Minuten des Buches zieht Ethan Crosd die Geschichte halbwegs zusammen. Bis dahin, macht leider wenig Sinn. Der Erzähler versucht Wörter English auszusprechen um es ein US feeling zu geben, da es ja in den USA stattfindet. Aber versuch ist auch wobei es bleibt. Leider viel falsch ausgesprochen.... nicht wirklich zu empfehlen.

I was super excited for a Will Trent, Jack Reacher mash up. How could it not be amazing with 2 fantastic authors? oh boy was I wrong. The story started strong but ended without ending. Being a short story everything was kept super surface level. and it felt like 1/4 of the book was wasted just describing Will Trents and Jack Reachers physique. (Important but not enough to take up that much space in a short story). This story had some strong points and feels like wasted potential. I liked the Idea of having a narrator for each character, but the narrator for Jack Reacher was aweful. super choppy, constant upspeak. waste of money....

always a fan of full cast narration. the story had me on the edge of my seat. I just couldn't stop listening! highly recommend!

if you've seen the Netflix series its still worth a listen. same concept different scenarios.

not the best books I've ever ready, but enjoyable. If you enjoyed the first book, I recommend you keep going. the World Sarah J maas built is great and there is some solid character development in this book.

I love the world the author creates

I know there are many who complain about the new narrator, but I think Amanda Lee Cobb did a great job. it does throw you off for a chapter or two to hear a new voice, but she clearly put in the research to continue reading with the same feel and the prior narrator.

I love that we get to continue exploring the world Sarah J Maas set and I think that if you enjoyed the first 2 books you will enjoy this one as well.

A refreshing new take on cliches

one of the most common complaints I've seen it that there are alot of cliches in this book. Well, yeah, how many ways are there to write romance novel? some things were predictable, but others quite refreshing.
I liked the main characters development throughout the story as she learns to love herself. not because a handsome rich man loves her, but because she has an opportunity to become healthy. I recommend
