Historia
Kevin Mitnick was the most elusive computer break-in artist in history. He accessed computers and networks at the world’s biggest companies—and however fast the authorities were, Mitnick was faster, sprinting through phone switches, computer systems, and cellular networks. He spent years skipping through cyberspace, always three steps ahead and labeled unstoppable.

Story of an egomaniac
Revisado: 10-12-23
I would put this book in the same category as Steve Jobs’ bio. He is so self-engrossed that he doesn’t see the pain or costs he caused others, An egomaniac. Having said that, I feel this book is educational and worth listening to. The technology is outdated, but concepts still apply. I am now more aware of the danger of social engineering.

Good adventure. Narrator excellent
Revisado: 07-09-23
This is a story written in different times, and therefore some things are said or happen which are today considered wrong. Other than that, it is a true adventure and the narration is excellent.

This beloved book, a modern classic of Christian testimony and devotion, addresses these and other vital questions, showing us how we can rejuvenate our prayer life, meditate more reverently, understand God more deeply, and experience God's presence in our daily lives.

Not my taste
Revisado: 05-23-23
Although many concepts of this book are true, I found the tone of this book very accusatory and talking down to me. The opposite of uplifting. The narrator was a distraction too - I would pray that God would help me get past it to hear what was being said.

Historia
Dorothea Brooke is an ardent idealist who represses her vivacity and intelligence for the cold, theological pedant Casaubon. One man understands her true nature: the artist Will Ladislaw. But how can love triumph against her sense of duty and Casaubon’s mean spirit? Meanwhile, in the little world of Middlemarch, the broader world is mirrored: the world of politics, social change, and reforms, as well as betrayal, greed, blackmail, ambition, and disappointment.

Sweet story. Made me think.
Revisado: 12-16-22
Overall this is a nice story to listen to. I have to say that Eliot’s commentary of some of the characters hit home with me. This is a story which makes you want to be a better person, and not a hypocrite.

My first Tolstoy
Revisado: 05-18-22
I’ve heard all my life about Tolstoy, but had never listened/read any of his books. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, even with its sad parts. Overall it offers hope.
The performance was amazing. Really special.

Historia
In a scrap heap within an abandoned factory, the greatest invention in history lies dormant and unused. By what fatal error of judgment has its value gone unrecognized, its brilliant inventor punished rather than rewarded for his efforts? In defense of those greatest of human qualities that have made civilization possible, one man sets out to show what would happen to the world if all the heroes of innovation and industry went on strike.

Classic novel
Revisado: 04-01-22
As far as the book…. This is my third reading in my lifetime. I read it at 18, 38 and now at 58. Each time I’ve taken in and resonated with different parts of the book. I don’t agree with all of it but admire it nonetheless.
As far as the reading…. I listened to it at 1.3 times the speed and it felt normal. The original speed is just too slow.
