Historia
Olivia McAfee knows what it feels like to start over. Her picture-perfect life—living in Boston, married to a brilliant cardiothoracic surgeon, raising their beautiful son, Asher—was upended when her husband revealed a darker side. She never imagined that she would end up back in her sleepy New Hampshire hometown, living in the house she grew up in and taking over her father’s beekeeping business. Lily Campanello is familiar with do-overs, too. When she and her mom relocate to Adams, New Hampshire, for her final year of high school, they both hope it will be a fresh start.

Different prospective
Revisado: 09-22-24
Overall I really enjoyed the story. It’s a well written story. I don’t share the authors beliefs on transgender issues. The book was not going to change that. I hate being called a sis man. It’s a made up term to basically label me (something, I thought transgender folks hated). I did get a sense of the isolation of transgender people and their families from reading this book (which is wrong). I felt the deep sadness and loss of Lily’s mother. I hope Jenny Boylan does write the sequel about her. I also think the authors got the ending right. When a white male is the accused we go to trial so we can punish them. When it’s the daughter of a lesbian couple we just move on.

Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Enough real science to make the holes filled with science fiction to make it work. Great story. Thank you for creating it.

Narrator’s performance was excellent. Story was really good. The mix of the two made for a superior performance.

Well apparently even the son of God now hates white people
Revisado: 02-21-23
Waste of about four hours of my life. Just HAD to play the victim card. And, of course, Satan is a white guy announcing his run for the presidency next to a confederate war memorial (way to bridge the race gap Kerry Washington). Looking for the problems in racial divides? Maybe this little story is one of them. Maybe YOU need to look in the mirror.

Needs a Better Ending
Revisado: 07-08-13
What did you like best about Red Moon? What did you like least?
I enjoy this book right up until the end. It seems very much like an unfinished work. It took forever to get to a very lack luster ending. The author created some great characters and has an excellent narration voice and tempo. I just did not like the ending. I will say that should s sequel be developed, I will buy it.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
Great Characters. Allegories to 911, Arab American Issues, AIDS are clearly seen in the book.
Would you listen to another book narrated by Benjamin Percy?
Yes - excellent voice and tempo
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
Maybe - seems it would be a bit long for a movie.
