Historia
Nothing is what it seems in this speculative thriller about a quantum computer scientist, virologist, podcaster, venture capitalist, and assassin coming together to untangle a twisted enigma that will change the course of future history. Everyone has something to hide, and every transgression is a portal to discovery. Taking you on a whirlwind journey from the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area to the distant shores of the Galápagos, Reap3r is a propulsive adventure that grapples with the price of progress and how technology shapes our lives and world.

speculative fiction at it's finest!
Revisado: 05-25-22
Eliot Peper has done it again!
well worked story with characters that really come alive as they navigate a complex web of intrigue. I've enjoyed many of Eliot's stories and this was one of his best.
great example of speculative fiction, setting the story in a near future where technology, climate change, entrepreneurism, and ethics all colide. clearly well researched. also, really enjoyed the narration, which the author himself preformed!
i finished this audiobook in 3 days, so yeah, i would definitely recommend this book

a masterclass of speculative fiction
Revisado: 09-28-20
Eliot Pepper has consistently impressed with his near future worlds that are rich in the promise and danger that technology stands to offer. What sets him apart from most in the genre of speculative fiction is how fully developed his characters are and how beautifully he sets the scenes. His novels are never lacking in intrigue or for strong female characters. He nails a fundamental truth: humans are complicated and technology simply magnifies human capacity for both good and evil. This is easily one of my favorite books in what is quickly becoming a favorite genre. Can't wait for the next one, Eliot!
Also, the narrator did a fantastic job for this audio book. I think she has narrated a few of Eliot's books and I've liked them all. well done
