I really loved this story. Wonderful characters, amazing storyline and a great representation of witchcraft. The narrator couldn’t be more perfect for this book. This is definitely a top favorite of mine now!

Great Audio from the High Republic

Amazing voice actors but a bit much

I’m loving the entire High Republic series, especially the full cast productions like this. Having said that however, as incredible as each actor was it was a bit over the top. During some scenes the spitting, heavy breathing, grunting , yelling, etc, was so distracting it made me want to shut it off at times. Overall it was a great part of the entire series.

Star Wars should do BETTER with selecting talent

I absolutely love this series of Star Wars novels, however out of all of the audiobooks that have been released this one was my least favorite.
The mispronunciations of words in this story were so distracting to listen to. Considering how Star Wars is a major name in the science-fiction community it is surprising that whoever the producers were did not give their talent better instruction on the previous novels when it comes to name pronunciation, and character voices.
I’ve read through the other reviews of this book, I am not the only person that feels this way. Also, there was virtually no pause between the end of chapters and that was very distracting to listen to.
having said all of that I thoroughly enjoyed the story and look forward to more continent from The High Republic

I loved the introduction of the new characters for this story. The narrator was fantastic although I wish he took more time to pronounce the words more closely to the other narrator‘s in the series… Everytime he said “Nile” instead of “Nye-hill” I cringed.

I always enjoyed Matthew McConaughey as a performer and after reading or should I say listening to this audiobook I love him even more as a person. Choosing the audio version of this tile is definitely the way to go because I could not imagine reading these words without his voice to tell you the story personally. This is absolutely one of the best and probably my most favorite audiobook that I’ve listened to date!
