Revisado: 10-11-16
Is there anything you would change about this book?
I could not stand the narrator.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Mark Shumka?
This narrator is horrible. Why did you get rid of Kevin Pierce.

Great intergalactic story just wish it was longer
Revisado: 01-20-16
What does Andrew B. Wehrlen bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I must say he grew on me, I didn't like his style at first but by the end of the book he was great.
Any additional comments?
This started pretty slow then sped right up with all the battle ship fighting and allies turning into enemies in quickly. Very good character development made you want the cadets turn into full fledged pilots at the end. I wanted more and then the end of the book seemed to come too early. I will actually try to follow this series and cant wait until the next book!

What did you love best about Warday?
I forgot that I had this book downloaded on my audible account for a few months. I started listening to it and it was great. The story brings you in a full circle from beginning to end. Starting after the nukes fell to living through the hard times, and finally when they start to figure stuff out more problems. I got a little tired of the book when it was almost complete. They packed a lot of information into this story and some of it just seemed repetitive. I would recommend this to everyone to read.

Historia
The omnibus edition of Prepper's Crucible is a compilation of the first three books of the series. It begins when our group of preppers flee Phoenix, Arizona, in route to their ranch in Prescott, in the wake of an EMP that wipes out all power, transportation, and telecommunications networks. Once there, they hunker down until the threat of violence forces them to defend themselves and their neighbors. In a series of battles, culminating with and attack on the town by over 200 gang members, they manage to survive the first month following the EMP.

What did you love best about Prepper's Crucible. Omnibus: An EMP Tale?
I loved that it took place in Arizona, being a Phoenician I appreciate walking through his bug out plan, which is similar to my plan as well. The canals would be a great choice to drive down to get out of this city. I will add that to my list! One flaw is you mentioned Glock 21's through out the story then they purchased ammo and got 9mm for the Glocks and a Glock 21 is a 45acp. Other than that not much stood out to me about flaws in the story. I liked it all the way through from beginning to end, a lot of excitement and adventure. I only hated when it ended on a cliff hanger.
Have you listened to any of Kevin Pierce’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Kevin Pierce knocks it out of the park again, I must say he is becoming my second favorite narrator. Sorry R.C. Bray currently has that spot.

The information in the book is great I could see how this could help someone write a business plan. I have written them for a few courses in college and have written my own as well for my own business. Over all everything was straight forward with extra information that I didn't even know about. The information in the book greatly simplifies the process to where almost anyone can draw up a business plan for success. The draw back for me was I couldn't stand the robot voiced lady that was reading me the book. I almost wish I had just gotten a regular print copy.

Right from the start you know what your getting your self into. Great action good pace of the book. I have found my self getting more into prepping in the past few years, you never know what might happen. After listening to this book it looks as if I still have a bit to go.
The story follows Jim Powell who was on a work trip when all hell hit the fan. Jim and his coworkers must try to travel back their their home through a lot of adversity. It also follows his wife and kids preparations as well.
I must say that your view of the poor people in the book co inside with my own. When Katrina hit 10 years ago my work adopted 10 family's. We got them apartments and furnished them. When I would arrive at the apartment with all the beds couches ect. on my trailer they all sat in the living-room and watched as we moved all of their new furniture in. They would not help even when asked, then they demanded money for food when we were leaving. By the way this was not just one family but every single one! I have had first hand experience in what you were describing in your book, about the poor being lazy people.

Revisado: 07-31-15
What did you love best about H.A.L.F.: The Deep Beneath?
Being set in the great state of Arizona.
Any additional comments?
I lost interest in the book toward the end and it almost felt like a chore, it seemed as if their was a lot of repetition in the book; ie: smells, fight, reminding us that half 9 will die from water... I also noticed being from Phoenix AZ a few inconsistencies, a few that stood out: at one point they were driving on the I10 north of Phoenix which is impossible because it runs east and west not North to South, It should be the I17 that runs north of phoenix, also cholla cactus is pronounced like choyya cactus. Other than that the ending got stale and repetitive and the love triangle got to annoying. I don't see my self investing into another book of the half series.

Historia
From the Audie-nominated narrator of The Martian. In eleven years' time, a million members of an alien race will arrive at Earth. Years before they enter orbit, their approach will be announced by the flare of a thousand flames in the sky, their ships' huge engines burning hard to slow them from the vast speeds needed to cross interstellar space. These foreboding lights will shine in our night sky like new stars, getting ever brighter until they outshine even the sun, casting ominous shadows and banishing the night until they suddenly blink out.

I'm a nerd at heart and loved this story. The author did a great job at making me care about these characters. This needs to be a TV series, I don't want it butchered and put in to a two hour film. I cant wait for Fear the Survivors to come out on Audible.

I found this story very interesting, I love the post apocalypse setting, and the renders were an interesting twist. I think it was written more for the teen crowd then a guy in his thirties, but It was very interesting I liked all twists and turns the author sets you up for. I cant wait for the next installment!
