Summary: Bad feelings between the northern and southern part of a country. Weddings are matched by families wealth, position, and making alliances by marriage between thr former warring factions- Thus begins our story of a man from the north made to marry a women from the south in order to get out of prison. Our hero signs the proxy bride papers but for four years never goes to get his bride. She was married by proxy when she was 17 to a 70 yr old man who died, then later to a dying man and third now our hero. She is now 24 years old and is tired of waiting an goes off to find her third husband. The reader was Anne Flosnick and she was very good. Overall the story was interesting but long. It could have been cut down a bit. But still different and well worth a listen.

I was fantastic to listen to a new book about the incredible Sld Halley- what a wonderful book to continue with his amazing sleuthing. Exciting never boring and constant action.

This story is different which is why I enjoyed it so much. A Duke who has never been loved meets a wonderful plain girl who has been finishing her father’s stories but when he dies she loses everything.

. If you have read all the books of a company of Rogues you have to read this to see what happens to one of the almost Rogues.

Excellent Read!! Not a light read.

This book has dual stories going in all at the same time. One is current navy seal team 16 and the other is about Hitler and the 2nd World War mostly in England. Seal team is the most elite of the teams and they are sent in to retreave a politicians wife, when she and her husband get separated in a third world country. Now they are trying to get out of the country and she has umteen suitecases, etc. She complaints the entire time and she ends up causing the team leader to recieve a head wound that may end his career. So he is sent on leave for R & R but he ends up seeing a terrist in this small town and no one believes him because of his head wound. But the terrist is real .................... how does he save the community, why is the terrrist there and what does he wish to blow up?
