Historia
Riane Eisler believes that war and the "war of the sexes" are concepts neither divinely nor biologically ordained. Join the author as she reconstructs a prehistoric culture based on partnership rather than domination and traces the roots of the global shift to patriarchy. Eisler, an acclaimed scholar, futurist, and activist, also presents new scripts for living based on a more socially, economically, ecologically, personally, and spiritually balanced society. This script is in direct opposition to the tension and violence typical of what she calls the dominator model. Her vision is the partnership model, which today is struggling to reemerge. This program is an important contribution to that struggle.

stunning concise exposure of the actual root of the problem.
Revisado: 01-21-25
stunning concise exposure of the actual root of the problem. so mind blowingly obvious and yet and entire planet manages to be thoroughly deluded for 5000 years in willful denial of it. one can only hope that we manage to stumble our way out of this trap.

More like the dawn and sad stories of patriarchy
Revisado: 06-19-22
skip to the conclusion... and if you have any doubts about it whatsoever or if you want to know a million interesting facts about how humans are not predictable except in their tendency to think they know everything, or if you want another window into how patriarchy is gross, then read it all. But don't hold your breath for an answer... this book ends at patriarchy is the root not farming or anything else... yes it shows light proof that Not patriarchy might work. but it also show that patriarchy has been predominantly with us since the earliest records... on the upside...with this information we can be hopeful that we can still fix it today and we can be sober in knowing that what we are undertaking is nothing less than radically changing the course of humanity.
