From trips on private jets and encounters with world leaders to shocking accounts of misogyny and double standards behind the scenes, this searing memoir exposes both the personal and the political fallout when unfettered power and a rotten company culture take hold. In a gripping and often absurd narrative where a few people carelessly hold the world in their hands, this eye-opening memoir reveals what really goes on among the global elite.

Non-Stop Roller coaster of unethical corporate decisions

This book was so compelling and so detailed in the description of the lies and horrors of the inner workings of Meta. I have always been skeptical of data usage like this on social media and recently ended my membership with Meta. It’s unconscionable to absolve themselves of blame but I guess if the price is right, they prove to be predictable. Outstanding book. Have suggested to many friends.

Historia
The idea of a powerful woman in the Middle Ages seems like an oxymoron. Females in this time are imagined to be damsels in distress, trapped in a high tower, and waiting for knights to rescue them, all while wearing traffic-cones for a hat. After rescue, their lives improved little. Their career choices were to be either docile queens, housewives, or be burned at the stake for witchcraft. But what if this image of medieval women is a complete fiction? It turns out that it is. Powerful female rulers fill the Middle Ages.

I’ve listened to this multiple times and always enjoy it. Do wish there was more ethnic variety in the stories.

Historia
Easy Company, 506th Airborne Division, U.S. Army, was as good a rifle company as any in the world. From their rigorous training in Georgia in 1942 to D-Day and victory, Ambrose tells the story of this remarkable company, which kept getting the tough assignments. Easy Company was responsible for everything from parachuting into France early D-Day morning to the capture of Hitler's Eagle's Nest at Berchtesgaden. Band of Brothers is the account of the men of this remarkable unit.

Couldn’t get enough of it. Female marine veteran and I feel this is one of the best military books ever written. Thank you Easy Company for your sacrifice.
