It was a little more personal and less science focused than I was expecting, but all and all I found tremendous value in spending time with this book and this author. I appreciated Ms. Simard reading this herself and I really appreciate her sharing her research.

Historia
Investigative journalist Matthew Cole tells the story of the most lauded unit, SEAL Team 6, revealing a troubling pattern of war crimes and the deep moral rot beneath authorized narratives. From their origins in World War II, the SEALs have trained to be specialized killers with short missions. As the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan became the endless War on Terror, their violence spiraled out of control. Code Over Country details the high-level decisions that unleashed the SEALs’ carnage and the coverups that prevented their crimes from coming to light.

Informative read; proceed with caution

Excellent research. Obviously a tough topic to tackle. Would encourage people to read this book but remember there are 3 sides to every story and this presents just 1 of them.

Mark Scandrette shows how the Beatitudes invite us into nine new postures for life. Instead of living in fear, we can choose radical love. It's often assumed that the good life is only for the most wealthy, attractive, and powerful. Poor, sad, and suffering people are left out. But the ninefold path of the Beatitudes is for everyone. Whatever your story, whatever your struggle, wherever you find yourself, this way is available to you.

The narration can't miss with this excellent content. Very thought provoking and thorough on what I'm personally realizing is a pretty awesome topic in the Good Book. You won't go wrong listening to it. It's relatively short so it's a bit hard to not binge listen. Your'e going to want to marinate in the content.

This is a tale that will make you smile just at the thought of running. From a fitness standpoint one of the 5 most influential books I’ve ever read/heard.
