don't listen to the bad reviews. I honestly would love to see this book get turned into an anime, that's how awesome it was. I've been reading cultivation novels for a really really long time, and even though this novel wasn't reinventing anything new, it was still incredible. keep up the great work, I'm moving on to the next one.

I've been a fan of your books for the longest, and I can say for a fact that they really should be adapted into an anime series. I would definitely love to see that, but keep up the great work. And I can't wait to read the next one.

some of the bad reviews are misleading.

this cultivation novel was put together in a way that I haven't seen before, and I loved it from start to end. one thing that I noticed that is one of the bad reviews was very misleading it. in that review they said that the timeline jumps didn't make any sense, they made complete sense to me. I know that the author was telling the story from two different perspectives, basically from where the main character was when he was young, to where he is now. I love this book, and I definitely can't wait till the next one comes out. five stars all around, now that is a definite.

interesting take on demonic urban fantasy.

I've never read a book exactly like this before. I liked it a lot, the only thing I didn't like was the way they were treating the main character in the beginning. but besides that, this was an awesome story, and I can't wait to read book 2. I think I'm going to get this one in 8 out of 10 overall.

when I first started this series, I was a little iffy about it. but I'm glad to say that I was wrong about it, and I definitely can't wait to see what happens in book 6. And also I can't wait to see what else Shane has in store for us in the temple verse. the narrator was awesome, she did an incredible job. And I applaud her every time I see her in one of these books. 10 out of 10 all around, this girl is definitely one of my new favorite badass characters.

overall, it was an okay plot concept. I just couldn't deal with the narrator, in the main character. The main character struggles to even want to use his powers for the first part of the book, and just the way the magic system was put together I didn't like. I honestly just couldn't finish it, I might finish it if I hear their book two is better.

10 out of 10 rating, the ending definitely threw me off guard though, but definitely in a good way. I always expect the unexpected in a story, but this even kind of surprised me which is definitely awesome.

when I first read the plot summary for this book, I thought that it was going to be like some of Erin's early work. but I was pleasantly surprised, I honestly didn't think that he would go for the cultivation route. but even though he did, the book steal stuff to some of errands earlier works, and I like that a lot. And for person who is blind, I love all of description in a motion that both narrators from all of Aaron's books put into their performances. I can't wait to read the next book in the series, I'm looking forward to see where this story goes.

this was definitely a wonderful read. I hope that the next book in the series doesn't take too long to drop, because I don't think I can wait for the next one. soundproof theater did just as awesome as they usually do on game light novels. overall I'll give it a nine point 5 out of 10.
