This may not come as a surprise, but the info in this book is nothing new.
However, the way it was delivered, the examples given and the stories told make it relatable to people who don't quite understand just how simple it is to achieve greatness.
I believe that all the access we currently have to near infinite knowledge via the Internet has made it so easy to accomplish things, we fool ourselves into thinking we have all the time in the world. In other words, the easier we think it is, the easier it is to not do it. Our biggest failure to date is simply that we fail to fail. We don't take action.
If one were to apply one or two of the concepts in this book they would see a profound change in their lives within a short period of time. I know this to he true because I have used them and they have made a massive difference.
Ideally, utilization of these techniques coupled with even the slightest action, just enough action to push yourself out of your comfort zone, will yield huge results. Especially if you've never done anything remotely close to trying.

Let see.... I was really hoping the 2 hour run time was an error. Unfortunately it was not. The books are not complete hence the super discontinued price.

Historia
Thinking Statistically is the book that shows you how to think like a statistician, without worrying about formal statistical techniques. Along the way we learn how selection bias can explain why your boss doesn't know he sucks (even when everyone else does); how to use Bayes' theorem to decide if your partner is cheating on you; and why Mark Zuckerberg should never be used as an example for anything.

Nice simple intro to statistics.
Revisado: 04-14-16
Title pretty much sums it up. Statistics are an important aspect of everyday life, just not in a personal level. I'm not sure how many people would actively engage is probabilistic thinking, no matter how much better their decisions would be. Even though I personally dislike math, statistics really makes me not want to. I can see it's usefulness, but the learning curve is pretty steep. I liked how simple the explanations were, they really helped understand the concepts, I was even able to relate them to some specific circumstances so that helped also.
Overall, I think the book is worth the listen. For a more thorough application other input is necessary.

Historia
This is the first book to present innovation and entrepreneurship as a purposeful and systematic discipline. It clearly explains and analyzes the challenges and opportunities of America's new entrepreneurial economy. Peter Drucker, the most influential and widely-read thinker and writer on modern organizations, gives us a superbly practical book that explains what established businesses, public service institutions, and new ventures have to know, have to learn, and have to do in today's economy and marketplace.

What can I say? It's Drucker!!!!
Revisado: 03-16-16
I have yet to be disappointed by a Peter Drucker book. It's good to read an old volume such as this if not only just to validate how far ahead of his time he was. It's amazing how accurate some of his predictions were, and how true most of the strategies and means he wrote about still apply.

Historia
One of the great fears many of us face is that despite all our effort and striving, we will discover at the end that we have wasted our life. In A Guide to the Good Life, William B. Irvine plumbs the wisdom of Stoic philosophy, one of the most popular and successful schools of thought in ancient Rome, and shows how its insight and advice are still remarkably applicable to modern lives. In A Guide to the Good Life, Irvine offers a refreshing presentation of Stoicism, showing how this ancient philosophy can still direct us toward a better life.

This was my first exposure to stoicism. I found it to be easy to listen to and adsorb.
