Historia
In his landmark best seller The Tipping Point, Malcolm Gladwell redefined how we understand the world around us. Now, in Blink, he revolutionizes the way we understand the world within. Blink is a book about how we think without thinking, about choices that seem to be made in an instant, in the blink of an eye, that actually aren't as simple as they seem. Why are some people brilliant decision makers, while others are consistently inept?

Wonderful and insightful

Yet again, the author is written, another insightful and curious way to try to understand instant judgment. Worth reading. Actually going to give this to my daughter who is studying for psychology.

Historia
Now a number-one international best seller, Billion Dollar Whale is "an epic tale of white-collar crime on a global scale" (Publishers Weekly), revealing how a young social climber from Malaysia pulled off one of the biggest heists in history. In 2009, a chubby, mild-mannered graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business named Jho Low set in motion a fraud of unprecedented gall and magnitude—one that would come to symbolize the next great threat to the global financial system.

Amazing story.

Enjoyed the book. Did frustrate me and multiple occasions. Yet again another white collar crime and no one received any jail time for minimal jail time even though billions were stolen.

Power is changing. Private corner offices and management by decree are out, as is unquestioned trust in the government and media. These former pillars of traditional power have been replaced by networks of informed citizens who collectively wield more power over their personal lives, employers, and worlds than ever before. So how do you navigate this new landscape and come out on top? Adam Grant, Wharton organizational psychologist, went to the World Economic Forum in Davos, the epicenter of power, and sat down with thought leaders from around the world, to find out.

Historia
Robert Kiyosaki - author of the #1 personal finance book of all time - has built a legacy around simplifying complex and often-confusing subjects like money and investing. He continues to challenge conventional wisdom and asks the questions that will help listeners sift through today's information overload to uncover ways to assess what's real... and what isn't. And use truth and facts as a foundation for taking control of their financial lives. In this new book, Robert fights what’s "fake" and helps listeners differentiate between what’s real...and what isn’t.

I was on the fence for most of the book. Until the last couple chapters.
Revisado: 01-08-24
I really enjoyed the book for the last probably six chapters. That’s where it actually connected to me and I started to really enjoy reading the book. Parts that I did not enjoy were the repetitive information at the beginning, repetitive saying. But the overall meaning of the book Did well at the end.

How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

Don’t always listen to preconceived ideas
Revisado: 05-19-22
My wife went to one of Tony Robinson‘s gatherings, and she really disliked Harley information is presented. That was my only understanding and knowledge of how we presented information. Which in turn made me hesitant on listening or buying this book. But being a person that believes and I’m always believing what other people think, I bought the book plus the Audible.
Now that I finished the book I do have to say that it was wonderfully done, and that Tony presented the information amazingly well. I would recommend this book. Maybe some of the principles have changed over time since it is 2022 and it seems we are on the cusp of a financial meltdown. Either way the plans and ideas I feel are still legitimate and worth using so you can become financially free.
