Historia
In the second book of John Christopher's classic series, Will Parker and his cohorts have spent a year living among the free men in the White Mountains. The Resistance charges them, now wearing realistic yet harmless caps, to infiltrate a Tripod city by competing in a sporting exhibition called "the Games" (very similar in nature to the Summer Olympics), in which the winners of the events are to be offered to the Tripods for service.

Historia
It is the morning of the reaping that will kick off the 10th annual Hunger Games. In the Capitol, 18-year-old Coriolanus Snow is preparing for his one shot at glory as a mentor in the Games. The once-mighty house of Snow has fallen on hard times, its fate hanging on the slender chance that Coriolanus will be able to out charm, outwit, and outmaneuver his fellow students to mentor the winning tribute. The odds are against him. He’s been given the humiliating assignment of mentoring the female tribute from District 12, the lowest of the low.

I’m depressed now
Revisado: 11-15-24
Two horrible killers, don’t read this to a person under the age of 16. I made that mistake and it depresses me the same way as my child, or tribute.

This is a good book but I wish that it wasn’t the last book in the series. Zoe and Stephana are the best!
