Another great story from this author

I was listening to this while on the treadmill, I was planning to break it into 2 sessions but was so involved in the story that I finished it all in one session.
This author has been a favourite of mine since discovering her a year ago and I have yet to be disappointed in any of her works. She writes wonderful strong female characters and manages to weave a storyline that successfully walks the line between taking you away to another world without being unrealistically outlandish. I loved both Sam, Felicia and this intriguing new story.
This is my second book narrated by Amelia Patricks and listening to her voice is starting to feel like getting a call from an old friend.
I would definitely recommend this book.

I would never compare Clare Lydon's books to others - they are in a class of their own.
Which scene was your favorite?
I wouldn't name a favourite scene and spoil it for others, but I loved that we were continually shown both Sally and Harriet as they were young and carefree and then their mature versions of their younger selves.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Your very first broken heart - we have all been there and would do almost anything to try and prevent others from that pain. I felt both of their hearts breaking as if they were my own.
Any additional comments?
Clare Lydon writes characters that I don't just love how they were written - but I want to hang out with each of them, sit and chat while having a drink. I could be friends with them.
