Slow book, slow narration

The book starts very slow and the narration is very slow through out. I actually listened to it on fast mode of my MP3 player. Maybe it is better if you read the hard copy. I just couldn't get into and I am a big Sci-Fi fan...

Similar to other reviews, I thought it was long winded and not a lot happens. It had potential from the start but just couldn't pull it off. The narrator was OK, but it seemed like the punctuation was off at times and some of his character voices were annoying.
