Historia
Katie Chandler's wedding day is coming soon, and she and Owen Palmer have a lot to do to make sure the event is magical. That makes this a very bad time for rumors about magic to be hitting the general public, even the television news. The secret about magic has been safe for centuries, but can it survive an era of cell phone cameras and the internet? As Katie delves deeper into an online anti-magic underground movement, she starts to suspect that there's something more going on.

Give it a chance
Revisado: 07-08-19
This book was very hard to listen to at the beginning. When Tully was having no her flashbacks the narrator didn’t distinguish between the current time and the past period very well so it was easy to get lost.
Overall I liked the story but it also dragged a bit. I think the narrator could have done better differentiating between past and present voices.

Needs a different narrator
Revisado: 03-10-19
The story was good but would have been so much better if the narrator would have been different.
All of the accents seemed to be the same at the beginning but changed later on. It took a lot away from the story.

Stay consistant
Revisado: 07-28-13
I wish the narrator would be consistent on how they pronounced the character names from one book to the next. The way the names were pronounced in books 1 and 2 were consistent but that changed for this book. I had to put more effort into paying attention to which character was being talked about, since I had gotten used to how the names were pronounced in the first two books.

Good Story that was poorly Narrated
Revisado: 06-11-12
Would you try another book from Kat Richardson and/or Mia Barron?
I have read the other books in this series by Kat Richarson and look forward to her next books.
I was not impressed with Mia Barro's narration. She did a good job capturing Harpers voice, but her male voices reminded me of voices that you hear with robots in cartoons.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The male characteristics were lacking an individual "voice" they all kind of sounded alike in pitch and tone. They sounded more automated (computer like). There was no real emotion brought forth with their voices. For some reason Carl's voice bothered me the most.
