Kondo's recommendation is to handle each and every object in your home - literally picking it up and holding it in your hands - to consider whether or not it "sparks joy." If the object makes you happy, it's a keeper. If it doesn't, it should be discarded or recycled. It's essential to frame this decision as "What should I keep?" rather than "What should I throw away?" Once you have culled your belongings in this way, Kondo estimates you should have only about one-third of what you started with, perhaps less.

The topics discussed in the book about going Cent Percent on Tidying, and about Japanese method, I found very interesting. The narration however is the best I've experienced is always clearly understandable and fantastic to apply..

Perfect summary! This book is an excellent short read, full of great life lessons for anyone. Although the examples are from a psychologists life, it is not a psychologists book. I will gladly recommend this book to all of my kids to know the friendship's worth ..

Some situations require that I go by split second gut reaction. Other times it requires deliberate planning.Remembering to Love is key. I read the book there was way more information inside of it I thought the summary was good from the start.

Integrated perfectly into your life.

This book is splendid. You can listen to it again and again, and since David Kove gets to the point very nicely, you can actually listen through it if you have a problem. That way it can be integrated perfectly into your life. Also, after listening to it once, I didn't feel like taking notes, since it sticks perfectly in my head.
Another great part is that Narrator's reading style is pretty, pretty fantastic. You can not do anything wrong with your money and time here.
