Historia
Crime reporter Joe Carpenter lost his wife and two daughters in the crash of Flight 353. Joe is unable to work, think, or do anything but grieve, and wait for his own death. Then Joe meets Rose, a woman who claims to be the crash’s sole survivor. But before Joe can probe further, the elusive Rose slips away and Joe is left with haunting questions: If Rose lived through the crash, is it possible his family could have survived it, too? Did the authorities conspire to hide what really happened that night? Joe’s search for the truth will shatter him - and force him to question everything he thinks he knows about life and death.

Story had too much needless information
Revisado: 03-01-24
This audiobook was tedious to listen to. Way too much needless dialogue or explaining of things not important to the story. The narrator was annoying as at some points the characters all sounded the same. The MC was unlikeable.
The story started promising, but then went downhill after that. I only finished it because I had already invested a few hours into it.

Terrible book.
Revisado: 01-24-23
The writer clearly has a left wing/liberal agenda. He was hostile towards religion and took every chance to blame whites, males in particular for every ill in the world. I was listening thinking it was going to cover crypto zoology, but was a woke discussion. I listened to 2 hours before I had enough.

Seemed like a guide to not believe.

Glad it was under a 9 minute long listen as any longer would have caused me to stop listening. The author is certainly pushing his theory that a creature does not live in Loch Ness. I don't know either way, but have always been fascinated.

Not that bad, but not that great
Revisado: 10-13-21
Really torn here with this book. I wish I could give half stars as I would give it 3 1/2.
Not going to give any spoilers, but I think that this book needed to be longer. The pacing was decent, but the closer we got to the end, it felt like the author was too eager to wrap it up into a neat bow. One of the main storylines bothered me with the way the character was dealing with the situation.
Also there was a character who showed up partway through the book, and outside of one scene with her dad, she didn't add to the story.
Overall it was pretty good, but not memorable. For me, it was a listen once and not revisit later.
I would recommend it, but it really could have been better. Still worth listening to.
